Already thinking of a second

My first baby is 9 months old, and I've been thinking about having a second. I know I want to stop taking birth control when he's about 18 months, I want them to be no more than 3 years apart. It took about 3 and a half years to conceive our son after I stopped birth control and we weren't trying but we didn't use anything to stop it. I'm curious how long it'll take to get pregnant again, but also worry if it doesn't happen like I hope it will. I know I want to give my body time to be ready and we need a bigger and better house, but I'm 32 and I know fertility lowers as you get older. I have so many worries and things I'm excited about it just makes me giddy all the time lol. Are any of you thinking about having a second and when you'd want to have them?

I used the Natural Cycles app and got pregnant the first night we tried, which I know is clinically INSANE and not typical at all, but I know for me, BC is a must until we are absolutely sure we're fully ready. I also have chronic health issues that I want to get under control before putting my body through this again. Pregnancy has been such a brutal experience for me, and I was not prepared. But I do think I want to give my babe a sibling, when we're ready.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant with a girl, I desperately wanted her to have a sister and I knew I wanted kids close together. My daughter is a sleeper too, so my postpartum life was definitely easier than others.
I think for me, thinking about going back to work, getting my body back in shape, coming out of the newborn 'trenches' and all of these things, just to go back into them again further down the line didn't sit with me. So, I got pregnant again at 7 months postpartum, the second month of 'trying'. My second daughter is due in October. Whilst I would like more, after effectively 3 years of pregnancy, I do feel like I'd want a bigger gap for me. But I would definitely not want a big gap!

Glucose tolerance test

I have my glucose tolerance test on Tuesday and I’m dreading it due to the horror stories I’ve seen. Does anyone have any neutral/positive experiences? Or can explain what happens?

First trimester vent

I'm 10 weeks and utterly miserable. I am so exhausted that I can't do anything I'd normally do - running, gym, hiking, gardening, seeing friends. Even had to take time off work. I'm basically stuck in the house most days. Nothing is enjoyable any more because it's such a massive effort so I just end up lying down and staring at the tv. It's so lonely and incredibly boring.
Please someone tell me it's likely to get better soon

Last Day

Today was our last day as a family of three as I go for my c section in the morning and omg I'm a mess 😭😭

What a mix of emotions.

Didn't think I'd find it as hard as I have. So bitter sweet.
