My LO is 3 weeks old. We've managed to get out of the house a handful of times to go shopping or for a quick walk, but mostly we're just at home. I'm torn between feeling anxious about taking her out and having quite intense cabin fever. Anyone else in the same boat?

Yes!! I am the same with my 8 week old little girl. Anxious to go out with her alone but hate being home, feeling down because of it!

Even at 4.5 months it can be hard

start with small trips like a walk round tesco to pick up a few bits and make sure babies just had a fresh nappy and a bottle so no pressure of what time you get out, it will get easier xx

Yes I tried explaining this to my midwife today because she hasn’t been very understanding !! She gave me 1 hour notice today to get to her, there was NO way that was happening. I felt like a kid at school getting told off by a teacher!
They told me to tripple feed my baby because of her weight problems due to tongue tie. (Pump for 5 mins, then Feed as much as I can from the boob, then pump again till I’m empty, then feed her that from a bottle, then feed her formula) so her whole feeding ruiteen can take me like 2-3 hours, especially with winding and pooping.
And then I’ll rock her to sleep so That I can have my shower and get dressed (which she normally wakes up crying within 2 mins because she hates being put down).
They should know better. Leaving with a baby never goes to plan. They always choose the worst time to do an explosion or be hungry 🤣🙈
I have a little baby girl who’s 2

Been wanting sex but partner doesnt seem interested
You give BJ, he doesnt even touch you, he finishes you dont. You tell him it was a bit selfish. He apologises.
You say you want sex or just to finish. He says okay tomrorow.
You wait 5 days.
You eventually have sex, no foreplay, he finishes, you dont. You tell him again thats not fair.
He apologises and says he feels bad.
5 days later still no sex.
You send a message explaining how youre feeling (is getting to ur confidence, self esteem, wondering if hes attracted to you ect)
He says sorry and that he will speak to you about it that day and thats not how he wants to make you feel...
Its now 3 days after the message, no chat, no sex.
How would you feel?

More of a little rant. I'm due any day now! :)
I don't want my family seeing my baby. I don't want anything to do with them. My resentment has built and built and built over the past few years, and now, when I have family instructing me to text/call when I'm in labour and going on about visiting the hospital or house to see the baby, I'm just kind of like... I'd rather we were alone and enjoyed our time together, not performed as a happy family for people I literally only have an obligation to as their relative 😭
Is it the hormones? Should I push through?
