My son will be two October 1st. I still co-sleep. He is in my bed in my room. He naps once a day. Usually 12-2 or 12:30-2:30. He sleeps through the night as well. Usually anywhere between 8-9pm he is down. And wakes up from 5:30-6:30am!

My son will be 2 on October 5th. He sleeps in his crib, overnight usually 830-7am and then naps typically 1230-230 (maybe 1-2 times per week he doesn’t nap at all 🙄)

.. he was early to drop to 1 nap (around 11 months old), so I’m sure our nap days are winding down here shortly given that he can function quite well without them when he skips them!

Bottle washing

What dish soap are you using for washing your bottles? Was using NUK dish soap but went through that in no time. Fairy is making it smell so soapy, and I can’t find anything that’s unscented!

Losing friends after giving birth

I just want a rant really I think and to see if anyone else has had it. Prior to being pregnant/giving birth I had a best friend of 16 years. I was there for the birth of her first child and picked her next two children up from the hospital when they had been born. I’ve been super active in hers and their lives since to the point where I am referred to as auntie. Her eldest will text me to catch up and we had a lovely friendship. But since becoming pregnant she’s not really been there and since giving birth she’s not checked in at all. The one person who I thought would check in has effectively taken a huge step back and as much as I want to confront her about it I don’t want it to turn into a fight unnecessarily. I’m just so disappointed in her and it makes me feel like she was only friends with me as I was useful to her and now I’ve got my own family to take care of she’s fucked off out the picture. I just don’t know what to do about it all - it’s been almost 10 weeks now and she’s reached out maybe twice to ask how we are doing and other than that it’s either been to post about her kids or responding to birthday messages.

Calpol before bed

(FTM) My 6 month old is currently teething. Nights are becoming super difficult but we’ve found having one dose of calpol before bed keeps him happy. Is it ok to be doing one a night? We don’t do any pain killers in the day as he seems fine without but without those distractions he’s fussy. We have tried alternatives like Bonjela and teething powder but they don’t seem to do much if anything.

Feeling awful!

I usually wake my 14 month old around 6-6.30 if I’m working in the evening at 8pm, so he sleeps on time. But he is going through a 2-1 nap transition and I let him sleep in and he woke naturally at 7.25 thinking he will have 1 long nap in the afternoon and has an early bed time. But he only had an hour sleep and of course needed a second nap which means things will just won’t work out and I have to work also. Tried to get him to have a quick bridge nap and he didn’t sleep. So we skipped the second nap and he started to crash from 6.50pm. Finally fell asleep at 7.20. I’m trying to ween him off of breastfeeding as well but I had to stop all that today and offer him the breast too. I just feel absolutely awful he stayed up for 7 hours and his little body can’t handle it. Just wanted to get it out my chest.

How do I get my 9 year olds to stop wearing his brothers clothes

My boys are 13 months apart. They are 9 and 8 but my 9 year old is in clothes between 10/12 and 14s depending on brand and my 8 year old is in size 8s. But I keep catching my 9 year old wear his brothers clothes then it’s a fight with him and he doesn’t want to take them off I literally have to take them off of him myself and make him put his own clothes on him.

How do I stop this?

Also they share a room and I separate their clothes the best I can.
