There’s not much you can do but reschedule and call in when they open at 9am. It’s better to call in and say you cannot attend even if the appointment is close to opening time. It’s worse to miss it and not call.

Getting sick can’t be planned so surely they must understand. You and baby not feeling well is good enough reason, once you and baby are good you can get it done. Main thing is not when you get the jabs but that you actually get the jabs and waiting a week or few days won’t do any harm. Don’t stress or worry!

Also this is it what I would do , but totally up to you!!

I believe they still go ahead if your baby has a cold as long as no fever. Main concern is you, if you are lightheaded and may struggle to look after a baby post vaccine with potential fever and needing to be more vigilant, personally I'd postpone. Call the GP at 9, explain the situation and see if you can rebook in a few days time.

I'm no doctor or anything, this is just my opinion/what I would do.

Hope you both feel better ā¤ļø

Maybe they can also advise if the jabs has any side effects? I know some don’t, but again I’m not sure so best to ask them when you call them at 9!

i would cancel
having vaccinations will put more pressure on baby's immune system as they build antibodies to it, and considering she already has a cold, her body is already working extra to fight that.
as previously ive been told to rearrange if my little one is unwell..

I would definitely reschedule

I would say reschedule, because her immune system is low if she is sick, and they will put ā€œinfectionsā€ in her body ā€œjabsā€ which will her body will fight to form antibodies.

Calpol before bed

(FTM) My 6 month old is currently teething. Nights are becoming super difficult but we’ve found having one dose of calpol before bed keeps him happy. Is it ok to be doing one a night? We don’t do any pain killers in the day as he seems fine without but without those distractions he’s fussy. We have tried alternatives like Bonjela and teething powder but they don’t seem to do much if anything.

How do I get my 9 year olds to stop wearing his brothers clothes

My boys are 13 months apart. They are 9 and 8 but my 9 year old is in clothes between 10/12 and 14s depending on brand and my 8 year old is in size 8s. But I keep catching my 9 year old wear his brothers clothes then it’s a fight with him and he doesn’t want to take them off I literally have to take them off of him myself and make him put his own clothes on him.

How do I stop this?

Also they share a room and I separate their clothes the best I can.

Moses Basket vs. Bedside Crib

Hi, my little girl (2 weeks) sleeps really well in her Moses basket but not so well in the bedside crib. Looking for thoughts on whether I should just take the Moses basket upstairs at night or whether I should push through with the bedside crib, as she’ll have to transition to it at some point anyway. Any thoughts appreciated 😊
