My 8 month old doesn't drink any formula
My child is 8 months old and refuses to drink any milk, no matter how long it's been. She will make up from a 7 hour night and still will not drink any milk, the most she will have in one go is 50 ml (less than 2 ounces). I fight with her for every bottle. I don't know what to do. I can hear her stomach growling.
But on top of that she doesn't eat solids, hates everything we give her. She will taste food and then stop eating afterwards.
All she wants to do is play.
I think she is going to end up killing herself with the way she is going. Or we will need to get a tube in her to pump the food in her.
I literally cry multiple times a day trying to feed her and then I feel like an absolute monster of a mother knowing that this is probably because I wasn't able to breastfeed. I see all these other breastfed kids and they all eat everything they are supposed to.
I don't know what to do.

Honestly my girls been the exact same and it’s so stressful and upsetting. She’s 10 months now and I can’t WAIT for her to be 1 and stop having to do formula but also scared she won’t eat enough🫠🤣
Have you spoken to health visitor or doctors? They might be able to help with advice and figure out what she’s avoiding. I know you said she doesn’t like solids but keep trying to give her food with her milk in then at least she’s getting even a tiny bit xx
What does the doctor say? Maybe she is experiencing reflux or some other kind of discomfort. Definitely need to investigate what the cause is
Is this a new thing like did she just start refusing in the last few days?
Maybe try adding a drop of vanilla essence into her formula (make sure it has no alcohol / ethanol in it), this was recommended to me by the doctors when my baby was refusing formula because she had a preference for breastmilk but I never had enough

Dummy’s
I’m exclusively BF and my newborn is only 11 days old and she definitely is cluster feeding and using me as comfort so I thought let me get newborn dummy small mam ones but she will not take them at all? Is there any others you reccomend or reccomend changing as I don’t want to just use me as comfort so I’m feeding her I want her to sleep longer periods during the night if possible so could give dummy as I did my other child and took it off him at 8 months old it worked fine but she doesn’t seem to want a dummy

Crying when changing nappy
Baby is 10 days old and cries so bad every time we change his nappy, is anyone else’s little one the same?
Is there anything we can do to try and calm him down?

Sick after bottle feeding
I just fed my 5 week old some formula ( 110ml ) and normally he burps well but he didn’t so I thought it’s fine. Put him down and he kind of projectile vomited some of the milk, made me panic. I picked him up and tried to burp him, he looked so uncomfortable but eventually settled and now I’m sat up in a chair scared to pop him down! Does that happen to many of you? He’s fast asleep now snoring away ( he snores normally )

Night duties
Hi my 15 week old is exclusively formula fed. I am on maternity leave and my husband works ft mon-fri. I do all night feeds and changes including weekends and when my husband takes days off as annual leave. Is this normal? Who does the nights for you? My baby usually wakes 2-3 times. At weekends he will usually take her from like 7am so I can sleep an extra hour or two upstairs. Sometimes I feel annoyed that he never even offers to do a night even at the weekend but maybe it’s normal for mum to do it … I appreciate it would likely be different for breastfed babies. Thanks.

Wake windows
For those who track wake windows and their baby doesn’t miss any naps during the day - are you noticing any difference in night time sleep? If they nap well during the day do they sleep better at night?
