I’m 9 weeks in ebf and loving it, I struggle sometimes with the cluster feeding times but I’m on my own as my husbands away so it’s more easier to bf than bottle. I personally love all the health benefits it has for my baby but don’t want to stuck in a position later on when I am struggling to stop. For example if my baby won’t leave the boob kinda thing and I want to stop. I will be emotional to end my bf journey and want no pressure on it but need my body back at some point.

If I am being completely honest, I wish I had started weaning early so that my first son was off the boob at least by 18 months old. Sadly now I am tandem feeding a newborn and my 2 year old son, just finding it super hard and demanding. Especially after my 2nd C-Section. I know people go to 5 years old, but that just isn’t in my plan at all

It’s really a personal decision and every baby is different. My son started self weaning at a year old and was finished by 14 months. Not every baby is a struggle to get them off.

I would say don't worry about the end point just yet. Just go along with it and see what happens. Lots of people say "I'll do 6 months" and then end up doing years! I went to 15 months until I got pregnant again, and will likely go for a similar length with the 2nd one hopefully

The World Health Organisation recommend until 2 years. What do you mean by “won’t leave the boob” as in spending a lot of time on the boob? Or won’t wean? From about 3 months our girl became quicker and quicker with feeds. She would feed for an hour each time in the early days and now finishes both boobs in about 7-8 minutes total. It’s so ridiculously easy. In terms of weaning, I’d say not to worry about that now. You have no idea how it will go. They could self-wean before you’re even ready to stop, you just never know

If your enjoying it then concentrate on now! They grow so fast!!!!
I breastfed exclusively for 3.5 years and that was the time me and my daughter where ready together ❤️
Just want to get everyone's opinions on jabs for their babies. I would never personally attack someone for their decision but I find whenever I post about this topic I always get personally attacked for having a different perspective. For reference, we as a family don't have them through personal choice, and children are thriving and hardly ever get sick!

Am I the only one covered in mosquitoes bites? I lived in London for many years and never had that many bites before. Now it’s looks just as bad as when I used to live in a tropical country.
Are there any effective mosquito repellents I can buy in the Uk?

Is anyone else the other side of the 4 month regression? Looking for some light at the end of the tunnel! I genuinely don’t know how much more I can take hourly/45 minutes waking and my partner works 13 hour days and no family to come over so I can rest at all :( my LO also has terrible reflux which makes settling him to bed a long process too. I feel so sad and exhausted all the time and just want to run away!
