Anyone had an elective section at Singleton?

Positive stories only please! 🙏

Baby is breech, so if he stays that way I might be facing an elective section. Just want to hear your positive birth stories please! 🙏

I had an elective c-section with twins in singleton in September 2025 - there’s a bit of uncertainty as to when in the day it’d happen but the procedure itself was great - the anaesthetist team were brilliant and lovely and they explained everything as we went along - all the team in the theatre were great, 10 mins into the procedure my 1st baby was delivered and 3 mins later the other twin was born and then it took another 45 mins then to sew everything up.

We had our own speaker with our music on and it was a very chill atmosphere! I hope all goes well - if they’re as good for you as they were for me you’ll be fine!

Yes I did in July 2024! It was a wonderful experience, really calm and as an anxious person I felt so relaxed. I played my own playlist as they had a speaker which was nice

1st birthday

This is my sons invitation I had to crop out some of it because of the address but our theme is “one little meatball” we are Italian so I thought it was perfect 🤣. Yes we do have a chef outfit for him haha. I’m so sad he is growing up so quickly my emotions are crazy :(

My turn 😮‍💨

Posted in the last 24hrs about booking an induction and wanting things to happen naturally, well I don’t think the induction I have booked for Sunday is going to be needed 🥹😮‍💨

Definitely having contractions (have been to maternity), 2cm but need contractions to be stronger which since we got home (naturally 🤡) they are!

1am bath time to try to relax and dull the pain a bit 🤞🏻

VBAC/waters being broken

So I’m overdue at 41+3, I’m attempting VBAC, and was scheduled for today to be induced but they had a space last night in the birthing centre so been in since yesteday evening. They noticed while trying for 2hours to get a baseline CTG for my baby (they were having a party), that I was having regular contractions 🤣 so left me and kept checking to see if I actually needed the balloon, I’m at 2cm and they’re happy to pop my waters instead and skip the balloon! 🙌🏽 has anyone got any positive stories when it comes to breaking theirs? Last time mine went naturally and my contractions came 5 in 10 straight away so a bit nervous something similar happens again, it was excruciating 🥲🤣

Scared to turn pram around

My baby is 6.5 months and I still have her facing towards me as I get worried about turning her facing out - what if the sun is shining on her and I don’t notice, what if a dog comes up to her etc. Find it hard to make the adjustment - any advice would be appreciated x
