So I’m overdue at 41+3, I’m attempting VBAC, and was scheduled for today to be induced but they had a space last night in the birthing centre so been in since yesteday evening. They noticed while trying for 2hours to get a baseline CTG for my baby (they were having a party), that I was having regular contractions 🤣 so left me and kept checking to see if I actually needed the balloon, I’m at 2cm and they’re happy to pop my waters instead and skip the balloon! 🙌🏽 has anyone got any positive stories when it comes to breaking theirs? Last time mine went naturally and my contractions came 5 in 10 straight away so a bit nervous something similar happens again, it was excruciating 🥲🤣

Good luck today but if you lived in France or another country your due date would be calculated at 41 weeks not 40 so depending on where you live you could be only 3 days overdue.
Baby just might not be ready to come out.

Thank you! I’m in Scotland so they count your due date at 40 weeks, my consultant doesn’t want me going any further due to last pregnancy! My contractions started themselves yesterday, I just put them down to Braxton hicks! 🤣
This is my sons invitation I had to crop out some of it because of the address but our theme is “one little meatball” we are Italian so I thought it was perfect 🤣. Yes we do have a chef outfit for him haha. I’m so sad he is growing up so quickly my emotions are crazy :(

Posted in the last 24hrs about booking an induction and wanting things to happen naturally, well I don’t think the induction I have booked for Sunday is going to be needed 🥹😮💨
Definitely having contractions (have been to maternity), 2cm but need contractions to be stronger which since we got home (naturally 🤡) they are!
1am bath time to try to relax and dull the pain a bit 🤞🏻

My little girl arrived safely today after a planned C-Section! It was such a chilled and relaxing experience and both my daughter and I are recovering well 🥹 Miss Lilah Belle Sweeney I love you so much 💗

I have a 19 mo and I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I've hit the sickness and fatigue stage. Any tips on how to survive this time with a very active toddler?
Having my head hung in a toilet with my LO banging the lid on my head was not a part of motherhood I was prepared for 😆
She hasn't mastered independent play yet so relies heavily on me for stimulation. We do go to a playgroup or playdate most days but that is becoming harder for me right now.
I have no village, and hubby works full time and is home around 6pm. Bedtime is 7pm and I have to currently cosleep so I only get that hour break.
Any tips welcome
