She’s here! I didn’t get the magical VBAC I had hoped for, but gave it my best shot and feel proud of my efforts. Baby girl arrived by emergency C-section after a long day of labouring and attempted forcep delivery yesterday. 💖

Congratulations sweet l. Sometimes our birth plans don't go as planned. I was wanting a water birth but had to have an emergency c section but wouldn't change it because my tiny moomoo is here.

Had our little October baby early, God was it traumatic but she’s safe and happy.

Welcome October Twins

We did it! Hit 37 weeks on the nose for our October twin boys delivered via c section.

For any mamas at Heartlands in Birmingham - BRING YOUR OWN BUTTER! The trust has removed butter and replaced it with margarine, thankfully I was pre warned 🤣

Mama's who had a VBAC after one c-section I have questions!

How long did you push for your VBAC?

Did your scar change the sensation /pain levels of your contractions?

What gestation did you go into labor with your c-section vs your vbac?

And only semi related to c-section, if you were induced with your first and not with your VBAC, how did the contractions differ?

Also if you got to 10 CM and didn't push before your c-section at all let me know because I'm extra interested in hearing from you since that was my experience!

6 week check up

I'm just shy of 8 weeks..

My 1st was born in 2023 and my 6 week check up was booked for me.. this time around I've had to call to arrange it and because there is nothing immediately wrong, my 6 week check up has been booked in for 11 weeks 😅 its laughable. Is this normal? Should I have booked earlier? Has anyone else had to book? Is this because I'm a 2nd time mum? Is it city dependent - i did move..

I just think it's crazy.. i thought this was standard

Baby girl is here

Had the craziest birth. It's my second baby she was born at 38 weeks . I have been having painful Braxton hicks from 30 weeks and started loosing mucus plug at 35 weeks . My contractions started at 2.30 in the morning. Started timing them as they were very intense . Got to triage and they said I was fully dilated . Got transferred to labour ward and she was born at 5.44 am. Trust your bodies girls .
