Hiya just wondering what the reason is for induction? x

So I had an induction with my second it was the balloon. I went in at night for the ballon slept with it in and in the morning had my waters broke. I did end up needing forceps but I had my baby the next day 8.46pm he was as healthy and perfect and we got home the next afternoon. I had a student midwife with me through the whole process plus her advisor in every hour or so was a much nicer experience than my first baby however we are still opting for a section this time around. Happy to answer any questions you do have about it can share from my experience x
Hey, im going to be 37 next year, i have a 2 yr old and my and my partner are considering a second child. With my first I had to have an emergency c section so likely would be booked for a c section for a 2nd. Can anyone shed some hard truth stories of having a second my age as well as having a 2nd c section and the recovery

Im 40 weeks on Sunday and have a C-section booked for Tuesday. I don’t want the section but because of previous C-section due to preemie baby I’m not allowed to be induced - either by body goes into labour naturally or C-section :( - I have a needy toddler at home so would prefer natural in terms of recovery!
Please give me all your tips 🙏🏼

I’m just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says “who got you pregnant”!!!
I looked at her like “what” and she repeated herself so I said “her daddy”! So she said “why did my daddy get you pregnant” 😳
So I said “I don’t know”! She says “it’s fine I will call him and ask him”…. She grabs my phone calls her dad who’s at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said “why did you get my mummy pregnant”! I couldn’t fully remember what he said because I couldn’t stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! 😭😂

Hey ladies. My baby starts his settling in period (2 weeks) this coming Monday. We haven't really been told anything so we will just bring him at 8am. We will give him milk at home and bring breakfast with us to give him there maybe but he might try their breakfast also? Do we need to bring anything else as I assume we will only be there for an hour obviously we will bring change of clothes, nappy wipes. Any advice will be much appreciated please🙏
