Hey ladies. My baby starts his settling in period (2 weeks) this coming Monday. We haven't really been told anything so we will just bring him at 8am. We will give him milk at home and bring breakfast with us to give him there maybe but he might try their breakfast also? Do we need to bring anything else as I assume we will only be there for an hour obviously we will bring change of clothes, nappy wipes. Any advice will be much appreciated pleaseš

You need to ask them. They may supply wipes and nappies. Mine wonāt accept food brought in from Home. Also with both of mine they havenāt wanted them in at the start of the day. Itās been more like 10 am so they can get the regular children settled and spend proper time with the newbies getting to know them. Honestly, the communication with mine was awful and we only got told timings et cetera like three days before! Itād be worth giving them a call

They all do them a little differently so I would check with them first.
For us we were asked to come in at 9:45 as the older kids were out at that time and we stayed for an hour to play with her to show her it was a safe space.
They did drink time so we got her sippy cup out.
Ours is a bring your own consumables nursery so we just brought our usual change bag with us.
Our second session will be me staying for half an hour and then leaving her alone for an hour. For that one I will just leave the change bag there I think as I haven't put her nursery bag together yet.
Hey, im going to be 37 next year, i have a 2 yr old and my and my partner are considering a second child. With my first I had to have an emergency c section so likely would be booked for a c section for a 2nd. Can anyone shed some hard truth stories of having a second my age as well as having a 2nd c section and the recovery

Im 40 weeks on Sunday and have a C-section booked for Tuesday. I donāt want the section but because of previous C-section due to preemie baby Iām not allowed to be induced - either by body goes into labour naturally or C-section :( - I have a needy toddler at home so would prefer natural in terms of recovery!
Please give me all your tips šš¼

Iām just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says āwho got you pregnantā!!!
I looked at her like āwhatā and she repeated herself so I said āher daddyā! So she said āwhy did my daddy get you pregnantā š³
So I said āI donāt knowā! She says āitās fine I will call him and ask himāā¦. She grabs my phone calls her dad whoās at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said āwhy did you get my mummy pregnantā! I couldnāt fully remember what he said because I couldnāt stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! šš
