Our 18MO is not talking. She understands everything we ask her or say to her, but it’s like she can’t say more than one syllable. It feels as if she is being stubborn 😅

my son the same way i’m currently trying to get him to speech i would say if you read to him!! a lot even if she’s not sitting still my son only says byebye mama and hi

Yeah my girl is going thru this right now same exact age too

Have you guys tried signing to them? Like, do food and drink or more first and keep it repetitive; that's how I'm getting my daughter to try to talk more, but it seems that she signs more than talks at the moment.

same here my boy is almost 18months and he was talking so much before he started walking an once he started walking he stopped an has been advancing in his motor skills. he grunts an points to let us know what he wants. an he also understands everything i just don’t know what else to do

Are they saying 1 -2 words and put it together like play ball?

My little girl didn't say any words at all, not even animal noises or mama and dada until after her second birthday. She understood so well, responded to her name, communicated in other ways (she's pretty good at signing and would take my hand and lead me to what she wanted etc), great eye contact etc so I wasn't worried. She turned 2 middle of August and she's now saying some words and sometimes putting 2 words together. She's just doing it in her own time. We've always read A LOT, she's obsessed with books, and sung songs, and described objects etc and she's still just done it her own way

Every child has their own timeline.
No sweat ☺️

We just had our first speech therapy this week! We got evaluated around 15months through our local regional center and they handled all the work!
Early intervention for me was a no brainer even if he just needed a little help!
Was wondering if anyone has used these and if they’re worth it? They’re around £25 a bottle but are meant to good?

Hi everyone!
I had baby #1 in Nov 2024 and now due again next month. I had a random question on disposable underwear.
With baby #1 I remember I wore disposable underwear for a week or 2 while I was very heavily bleeding! I used to put a maternity pad on it too for extra cautiousness.
Now I remember my maternity pads were lilets but I cannot for the life of me remember what disposable underwear I had. All I remember is it was black
Anyone able to recommend there’s or perhaps know what I may have used??
Thanks

What are our 4/5 month old night routines when we do not bathe them every night? Also what time are our little ones going to sleep for the night?

I've been looking at getting a baby clementoni disney projector for my little man's 1st birthday coming up in November. I didn't realise until I went into smyths that there's actually 2 versions. I was just wondering what the differences are and how did your little ones take to them?
