No poo for 6 days.

My hasn’t had a poo for almost 6 days now. He’s mostly breastfed and once in a while on formula. Have spoken to health visitor but was adviced to
Monitor. I’ve also done lots of exercises with my baby like bicycle ride and tummy massage but nothing. His tummy is soft and winds a lot but no poo yet. Should I still be worried ? Almost 7 weeks

warm bath and gently massage his belly in clockwise motion, try to have his belly submerged in bath or cloth over, as much breast milk as you can. My 4 month old can go 5 days between poos too - as long as they’re passing wind and when he does poo its not solid then i was told by HV its normal x

Normal with breastfed babies.
Mine is 1/3 only breastfed and the rest formula. Didn’t go once for 5 days. Lots of wind (smelly btw) and soft tummy. Was advised by private paediatrician if baby is not uncomfortable and tummy is soft just wait. Gp gave me suppository to give on day 5 of no poo but luckily she went that morning and did not have to use as I was very stressed about having to give it..
My understanding is breastfed babies can go once a week.
as someone already mentioned I also gave my baby a bath the night before she 💩 and was literally holding the jet of warm water over her tummy and did the exercise which brings legs up to tummy to form letter M.

My lo had the same issue and they prescribed movicol. You mix it into the milk and it works within sonethign like 24 hours. If it looks like your lo is in discomfort and they are too young for solids then I'd recommend going to the GP and asking for some form of laxative like movicol which is safe for babies. I tried everything with my lo to get him to poo but nothing other than the movicol worked.

How old?

Had mine not pooping 3 weeks after his 1st poop in morning after he was born.. wild but normal

Completely normal for breastfed babies to go up to 10 days with no poop after that it becomes a concern. Bicycle legs, clockwise tummy massage, warm bath, and applying a little pressure to their lower back in a circular motion like if you were to burp them but it's to help facilitate poop

Confused about sterile bottles

This may sound silly, but I’m a FTM so any advice would be appreciated 🥹
My baby is 11 days old, and at some point I would like to start going out more but I’m confused how the bottles will be sterile in a bag, I currently use the Tommee Tippee bottles and the Tommee Tippee UV steriliser but I read once they are out the steriliser they aren’t sterile anymore? Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. Just wanted some advice on what other people do 😊

How are we dealing with creepy neighbours?

Only lived at my address for 5 months, I can’t go into detail of everything that’s happened with this 1 neighbour because it’s too much 🤣 but basically he’s weird and creepy as f*. He’s wanting too much information about my toddler, i am 4 weeks pp and haven’t answered the door once (since giving birth) to his parcels being left here or him ringing my bell. I feel like I’m being a bad neighbour but he’s just too much. I don’t want to stand at my door having the same repetitive conversation of him delving too much into my life, while I have a baby and a toddler now to watch.

Also my dog only barks at him…

He stares into my window every time he walks by (he lives right next door) honestly I wish I could spew every encounter I’ve had with him here but it’s too much 🤣😅 anyway - how do I stop feeling like a nasty neighbour? I don’t want him to hate me incase he is a psycho and tries anything but I also don’t want him to speak to me…

How long did your breastfed baby take to get back to birth weight?

I have just had my 5 day appointment and my baby has dropped 9%. I've been booked for a reweigh on Monday and told if she's lost more we will be sent to hospital. I said that's fine but I will refuse any feeding plan as I was put on one last time ( triple feeding) and it made my daughter projectile vomit and my mh plummet. She then asked if I had through about pumping and I said no I won't be pumping 5 days PP and 1 day after my milk has come in. Honestly the whole appointment has left me so angry at the pressure they put on us to get back to birth weight in 10 days. My partner also said she was weighed wearing a hat and blanket ( I had a c section so couldjt se)
