Is anyone else experiencing extreme postpartum OCD? I’ve had it all my life but it’s definitely ramped up since giving birth. I have washed my hands so much they’ve become contact dermatitis, i don’t let anyone hold her and the few times I have they have to have muslins over their clothes and none of her can touch them, everything is constantly being washed, I can’t even touch normal things in my house without washing my hands, it’s putting a wedge between me and my husband because it’s got so severe he can’t stand it, my family get scared to even near my baby because of what I’m like, I don’t know what to do. Even if my hand touches a corner of a worktop like the side of my hand I have to scrub myself clean. I also have such awful obsessive thoughts of all things I have to do to protect her or it’s all my fault. It’s really hard. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Yes! I’ve had OCD since I was a child!
I was so scared to leave the house incase anybody touched him and he was ill. I’m still scared to take him around my nephews because they go to nursery and school so I’m scared of him getting a bug off them!
I got a Milton spray bottle and wiped everything down but I limited myself to like a few times a day-
I also got a Milton foam mini pump to carry around and I had everyone put it on before touching him - it’s completely normal to want to protect your baby
Feel free to message me ☺️xxx
This may sound silly, but I’m a FTM so any advice would be appreciated 🥹
My baby is 11 days old, and at some point I would like to start going out more but I’m confused how the bottles will be sterile in a bag, I currently use the Tommee Tippee bottles and the Tommee Tippee UV steriliser but I read once they are out the steriliser they aren’t sterile anymore? Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. Just wanted some advice on what other people do 😊

When I was in my partners car yesterday I found sunglasses down the wee side passenger bit but they are usually sunglasses id wear and I said to him are these yours and he was like naw they must be yours cause your the only one that’s been in this car but I have a head like a siv I can’t remember but I leave sunglasses lying everywhere, I have a pair in my car .. and I also have ones left in my boyfriends house that have been there for ages. But I can’t remember 🤣 I think I was at a fair middle of August and bought a pair for a pound.

Only lived at my address for 5 months, I can’t go into detail of everything that’s happened with this 1 neighbour because it’s too much 🤣 but basically he’s weird and creepy as f*. He’s wanting too much information about my toddler, i am 4 weeks pp and haven’t answered the door once (since giving birth) to his parcels being left here or him ringing my bell. I feel like I’m being a bad neighbour but he’s just too much. I don’t want to stand at my door having the same repetitive conversation of him delving too much into my life, while I have a baby and a toddler now to watch.
Also my dog only barks at him…
He stares into my window every time he walks by (he lives right next door) honestly I wish I could spew every encounter I’ve had with him here but it’s too much 🤣😅 anyway - how do I stop feeling like a nasty neighbour? I don’t want him to hate me incase he is a psycho and tries anything but I also don’t want him to speak to me…

My hasn’t had a poo for almost 6 days now. He’s mostly breastfed and once in a while on formula. Have spoken to health visitor but was adviced to
Monitor. I’ve also done lots of exercises with my baby like bicycle ride and tummy massage but nothing. His tummy is soft and winds a lot but no poo yet. Should I still be worried ? Almost 7 weeks

I have just had my 5 day appointment and my baby has dropped 9%. I've been booked for a reweigh on Monday and told if she's lost more we will be sent to hospital. I said that's fine but I will refuse any feeding plan as I was put on one last time ( triple feeding) and it made my daughter projectile vomit and my mh plummet. She then asked if I had through about pumping and I said no I won't be pumping 5 days PP and 1 day after my milk has come in. Honestly the whole appointment has left me so angry at the pressure they put on us to get back to birth weight in 10 days. My partner also said she was weighed wearing a hat and blanket ( I had a c section so couldjt se)
