We have this issue, I've tried her being awake more in the day (didn't help!) and today I've tried a probiotic with vitamin D but apparently can take a few days to see any affect. We check the basics needs then just try to distract her out of it until she sleeps, no quick fix unfortunately for us so far

Mine is the same, they don’t really know the difference between night and day. Getting out in the daytime can help. With my first I found it helpful to look at sleep over 24 hours and the quality of this

Yeo, mine is the same at 3 weeks. HV said crying increases from 2-6 weeks and then tends to calm down again

Also the same at 5 weeks. Nights are awful, he’s wide awake! But daytime he’s practically bulletproof with sleep, just in the trenches at the moment with it!
I gave birth 4 weeks ago and the delivery was difficult, my baby was in the wrong position and with the cord around her neck, but the midwife didnt check and got me to push for an hour with no luck. I then was taken to the operating room and had a forceps delivery with an episiotomy. Im now 4 weeks post partum and I am conscious of my intimate area as I can always feel it but its not exactly painful just not comfortable like it was before. A few days ago a midwife said my stitches look to have gone now and it looks healed but I know ill get it properly reviewed at the 6 week medical check. My husband and I do want to be intimate as its been a while now, but im conscious that my area doesnt look or feel the same as it did before and I dont know what it will be like when I do have sex again. Im curious what others experiences have been who have had an episiotomy.

When is everyone realistically thinking of putting their babies in their own room? I feel like we would all sleep so much better if mine was in his own room by now!

Hi, mum to a 6 month old here. My little one used to sleep in the cot and wake up a few times. Since his 4 month sleep regression, we have been co-sleeping and he sleeps in bed with us. I’m worried about safe sleeping and would prefer he sleeps in the cot, however he cries as soon as I put him in the cot.
Any advice on how I can train my baby to sleep in the cot?
