Low waters

Hi, I went for a scan yesterday (36 +5) as I’d had reduced movements about 2 weeks go. This was a follow up scan to ensure baby had grown.
When at my scan they said my waters seemed low so sent me to triage.
I had the swab to see if I was leaking waters which was negative.
I have another scan and CTG tomorrow. Has anyone else had this before either this pregnancy or previous. I feel like I’m spiralling and I’m so anxious. This is my third baby.

I haven’t had that but i had regular growth scans and my water measure fluctuated with how hydrated I was. Maybe nothing to do with it but drinking more water won’t do any harm!

Hi, i had this. I had my 36 week scan and they found I had low fluid. Was sent to triage for monitoring and swab. I wasn't leaking fluid so was sent home with another scan booked for 38 weeks. Went for that one and was told fluid and growth was normal and got sent home again. To await labour/birth. Dr told me that sometimes baby is just sitting odd and it makes the fluid measure low when it's not. I hope this helps. Feel free to message me if you like 😊

Thank you both. I’m hoping that’s the same for me. They seemed happy with her so 🤞🏻

Infected c-section site and cold

I’m concerned as I’ve been on antibiotics for an infected c-section site. But have gotten a cold/flu like symptoms now (cough, sore throat, runny nose and headache). Having googled (worst thing I know) it says it could be possible sepsis, I have an appointment Tuesday for a review of previous antibiotics given. Would it be recommend to call maternity unit due to gp being closed over the weekend or do I wait till Monday to see if I can get an appointment then instead of Tuesday.

Any advice would be appreciated

Ultrasound

I’m pregnant with my 2nd baby. I just received first ultrasound results. And they put in the results that I have a small fibroid , small cystic lesion and a small subchorionic hematoma. Was wondering if anyone experienced any of those things? I’ve been having a lot of cramping too - wondering if one of these things are causing it 😭

Birth partner

Has anybody else not taken their husband /wife /partner with them when they went into labour? My husband came with me the first time but I’m genuinely thinking of taking my mum this second time around she hasn’t asked me to or knows that I want her to maybe come. I just feel like my partner isn’t reliable enough for me to get in touch with him all. Maybe it’s done it once don’t need to do it again situation I don’t know but I thought it was normal to take your partner but maybe not for everybody?

Consistent tightenings

I’ve been having braxton hicks since about 1pm every 10ish minutes. They’re not painful but it’s been about 4.5 hours. Is there any chance this could be labour? Or just braxton hicks?

Waters have broken - me again

Ive been told i’ll be contacted within 12 hours to go to hospital for them to check things over as ive got no contractions or anything. My chosen hospital is also full which means i’d have to go further away if i do start contractions now. How long after your waters breaking did your contractions start? This is my second baby but waters never broke with my first
