Refusing to eat

I really need some advice. My LO is refusing to eat. She’s drinking about 9oz milk when she wakes up. Then I offer breakfast a few hours later (usually weetabix) but she refuses to eat it. Then before her first nap she has about 8oz milk again. Lunch is around 2:30pm and again she’s not eating anything and only snacking on rice cakes/fruit. Then dinner around 5:30/6pm again she’s refusing to have anything. But she will have 9oz milk before bed.

I am really worried she’s not having food. The reason I am giving her milk is so she’s having something.

Is anyone experiencing the same? And idea what I can do to make her eat more? She was fine with food before but this has been like this for weeks now!

I would try to offer her the food before the milk feeds, I tend to give my daughter breakfast around 7:45 and milk around 9:30, she always eats her breakfast. I’ve noticed a definite reduction in her appetite if she has milk first

I only give her two feeds a day now (unless she asks for milk) which is morning and then before bed xx

My little one was like this until he weaned off milk at 12 months. Then his appetite grew enormously

Same as mine, he shows great interest in Food but won't eat it. Its sooo tough and stressful 😪 the only thing he takes in smooth fruit puree and yoghurt. His nursery says when he refuses food they can't give him the puree and yoghurt so he goes the whole eating nothing. So heartbreaking 💔 health visitor don't care.

How much sex a month?

How many times a month in the first year postpartum do you and your husband have sex? (Trying to figure out what the normal range is for partners with a baby!)

Nighttime nappies

Hi all, does anyone have recommendations for a good nappy for nights? 3 month old is sleeping in good stretches but nappies can’t keep up. Tried Aldi and pampers and now on Sainsbury’s and they are great in day but not at night?! Thanks so much

Crying before every nap

My three month old cries before every nap. He’s fine in the night when fed to sleep, but before every single day nap there is 5-25 minutes of crying. We follow wake windows as best we can but it doesn’t seem to matter whether he’s awake one hour or three hours!

Did anyone else have this, and has come out the other side?

Controlling behaviour?

If your partner didn’t force you to go to bed at a certain time, but got annoyed if you went to bed before he was ready or wanted to stay down for longer when he wants to go to bed, would that be considered controlling? Seeing as there’s no forcing involved just getting annoyed by it?

Swaddle

Hey! I’m really interested to hear people’s thoughts/experiences with swaddling for newborns? I’ve heard it’s supposed to be great to keep them relaxed etc but also was told yesterday it’s not a method that they use anymore which is completely new to me!! Any thoughts?

Wind at night

My 6 week old has always slept generally well until about 4am when he starts grunting and crying etc in his sleep struggling with wind. It’s getting so bad he’s screaming in his sleep. We soothe him and then he’ll start again 10 mins later. The only thing that seems to help is laying him on us which obviously isn’t ideal for sleeping.

Any suggestions on anything to help? We’re using gripe water atm but not seeing a significant difference!
