How old is your little one? Try not to worry so much, it’ll work itself out. I was really nervous at first too when my husband went back to work but it was honestly not bad. Ask your hubby to do things around the house before he leaves so you can focus on taking care of the baby during the day eg. wash dishes and get bottles ready. When he gets home, ask him to take the baby for a bit while you shower etc. Also, stock up on food or do meal prep as you might not find time to cook. Try to go out of the house also or have someone visit you. It can be lonely being alone with baby in the house. Good luck mama! You got this💕

First of all you got this! You have it in you even if you don’t think so right now. Completely normal to feel nervous but I promise you that once your day starts going it’ll go smoothly. Maybe get a little routine going and take one step at a time. When baby naps, take advantage and care for yourself from eating, napping or even just having a minute of doing nothing on the couch.

My husband only had three days off as he has his own business and we have a farm- i do everything 24/7 as he is usually out 7am-9pm 7 days a week. What aspect are you nervous about ? You'll find you get into a routine after a few days.

Try not to place too many expectations on yourself for the first few weeks you will find your own little routine naturally. If your only goal for the day is go out a walk etc. that’s fine! My partner would set up things for me for the day like making sure all the bottles were cleaned and ready to go, nappies and wipes in her basket downstairs and he would make me a little packed lunch and snacks for through the day. My lunch being ready for me in the fridge was honestly a life saver for when I was nap trapped 😂

I think advice is perfect tbh! I had good days where I got so much done and baby went down etc, but then I had awful days where she didnt want to be put down and it made me feel like crap because I thought 'how am i meant to do anything when i cant predict what little miss will feel like today'. You might not get 2 days the same and thats okay, take each day as it comes and celebrate the little wins. And remember that even if youve managed to do nothing all day besides take care of your baby's needs, that is still a big something! ❤️

I’d recommend building yourself a little snack/drink station. Picking out a show to binge watch. Make yourself as physically comfortable as possible before attending to babe. Don’t forget toe occasional fresh air. A baby carrier can help give you a little more freedom.

Yeah that’s how I am and I still hate that he has to work so I don’t let them wake up till like 1 pm since I’m pregnant and I cannot take care of them for long time because of pain all over my body and the dad comes home at 5 pm. He helps with hard tasks but doesn’t pay attention to them as much and acts like he has to sleep right after eating without taking care of kids. Shits getting annoying honestly. That’s what I had anxiety about too. I feel like I’m doing this shit alone and exactly why we don’t ever go out because I stay tired .✌️
Just out of interest, as I feel like In the minority among everyone I know (in fact I can safely say I’m the only one I know!) who isn’t giving my baby foods containing sugar and don’t plan on ever doing so until he’s at least way over 2. Is anyone with me? No judgement btw it’s just my personal stance

My husband and I been together for 5 years , married for 1 1/2. When we first got together I went with him to a quince ( his cousins ) that’s where I met everyone ( his whole family etc ) . I got a long with his cousins.. this one girl that I assumed was his cousin came up to me complementing me whatever. Ig his cousins seen that n told me that my husband has something with her years ago and I was in shock because I’m like umm how come he didn’t tell me?? I told him about it and he told me that yes they did things ( sexually) but it was never nothing outside of that. I had my questions and he answered. Fast forward to now! She comes around because her parents are close to my in laws . I keep it respectful but I don’t go beyond that. She came to our baby shower which whatever but wtf?? I feel like she keeps it respectful too but she throws things at me. Like current words she says are specifically for me.. whatever I let it go. Anyways yesterday people came over to the house because there was a soccer game on . Her parents came but not her. It’s night and my husband and I are outside with her parents and my in laws. We are just talking giggling.. mind you his dad is drunk n he’s so dumb when he’s drunk. He was talking about something and he told her parents “ everyone knows my son had something good with your daughter , it ended and now he’s with Angelica , which is good cus she’s a good person “ and I’m like huh?? Something good? So I’m just there but I am heated and confused. I look at my husband in a weird way n he just puts his head down and I go inside. He follows me.. but I just told him I needed space. Am I wrong? Am I over exaggerating. I know that they did something sexual YEARS ago. But I asked him if they ever dated , went out with eachother or if he liked her and he told me no that they barely talked and that he fucked her a couple times. That it was nothing outside of that. He told me when I first found out when I had my questions. So he lied to me. Because obviously it was something if his parents knew about it.. I’m upset because why didn’t he tell me? Why did he lie about it?? Why did his dad do that ? I feel dumb because she comes to all our parties and talks to him n everything. This morning he brought it up and told me that it shouldn’t bother me because it was years ago. I’m upset. So upset. To the point where I’m going to give him the same energy back. Someone help

I am considering taking a break from potty training.
My son has chronic constipation and I think that needs to be fully resolved before we continue. We started training him 3 months ago and he's still having multiple accidents a day. It is causing a lot of stress. However, my worry is this will make things worse in the long run as he will get confused.
Just wondering if anyone else has taken a pause in potty training and why? Did it work out in the long run? Do you regret it or was it the right choice?

Last night while playing and having some nakey time without a nappy on my little girl who’s just turned 2 said “I want my potty” so I told her to go get it. She bought her potty into her bed room, sat down and went poop. I was shocked because she’s only been playing with the potty up-to now, she’s never done a wee in it and if anything she usually would get nervous whilst sitting on it as I think she was worried she wasn’t aloud to do a wee or poop despite my encouragement.
It’s has been sat in my bathroom for weeks not being looked it never mind used, so for her to actively go fetch it as she wanted a poop AND use it correctly, I’m shocked! 🤯
I gave her loads of praise, big smiles but she looked worried she’d done a “stinky” on the potty and was upset. Yet she’s the one who wanted to do it??? Im confused what to do about it. Personally I don’t think she’s ready to start potty training but the kid just independently took herself off to use it so perhaps I’m wrong?
How would you play these next steps? Or would you do nothing as it might have been just a one off?

There was a serious safeguarding incident at my childs school last week involving a 5 year old being taken by an adult without the parents awareness or consent.
My child has a school trip coming up and I'm really anxious about it. I was anxious before but now I really don't want my child going!
Can anyone recommend a tracker/gps type thing? I have android

My husband apparently hurt his leg while at work. He has been limping around for a few days. Now he says he can’t hardly move it. I’m feeling pretty upset because I can’t tell if it truly is as bad as he says or he is just using it as an excuse. I have taken care of the kids, the meals, the cleaning, all of it while he said I could take it easy and relax. All day he has been sleeping and not really doing much of anything. I’m frustrated because when I am sick or in pain I still have to take care of the kids and cook/clean but it seems like he just gets to do nothing. Am I being a bad wife?
