Bath

Please spare any negativity as I feel extremely embarrassed writing this.

I have PPD. I have a 5 month old & a 2 year old. I have physical health issues.

My 5 month old hates the bath, and has only had 4 since she was born. I wash her daily with mustela water but I feel like I'm neglecting her for not giving her more baths.

Logistically I am struggling, as well as physically. I cannot even get in the bath myself due to mobility.

My baby hates baths he screams bloody murder so I just wipe him down daily for the most part.

Don’t make your life more difficult than it needs to be, your baby is clean. It doesn’t matter how that’s achieved 😊 x

Could you try and give her a little wash in the kitchen sink? It’s higher up and easier to stand at…. X

Would love for you to message me as I'm in a similar position. I have a 2 yr old and 5 month old too and I have had mobility issues since late in my pregnancy and the birth. It's so difficult isn't it? Having to look after 2 little ones when I feel I haven't sorted myself out. You are cleaning your baby so you're doing what you can. Would be nice to talk xx

My little one screamed blue murder for the most part of 3 months - i tried everything
A baby bath
A warmer bath
A cooler bath
The big bath
Baby pillow in big bath
A shallow bath
A deeper bath ... everything

What worked in the end was singing and a large bath sponge which she lay on like a big pillow in the bath.

Also taking time before lying her down and showing her her toys.
Could you bath them together?

UK mums - Do you send your child to nursery in stained clothing?

Some of my daughter's clothes have become so stained and most of these stains have happened while she's been at nursery.

I am struggling so much to get the stains out!

I feel like if I send her in stained clothes I'll be judged or looked at weirdly like I can't afford to clean her clothes or something?

What do you do with stained clothes?

Does anyone have tips for stain removal? Red/orange food (I know sunlight but we're going into winter where it's scarce). Brown knee stains? Just like dirt stains? And yellow curry stains 😣 help me please

Bed suggestions please

This is my 4 year olds bedroom.

Can anyone recommend a bed that would fit in the room but not take all her space ?

She’s 109cm tall not sure if that makes any difference 👀.

She does not have 2 tvs the video was taken whilst re organising😂

Controlling behaviour?

If your partner didn’t force you to go to bed at a certain time, but got annoyed if you went to bed before he was ready or wanted to stay down for longer when he wants to go to bed, would that be considered controlling? Seeing as there’s no forcing involved just getting annoyed by it?

4 month regression

I feel like the worlds worst parent.
My baby is 18 weeks old and has become the lightest sleeper. I have tried sleep training, co-sleeping, feeding to sleep, rocking and patting to sleep but he just wakes up as soon as his head hits the crib. I make sure I he not up to long in the day and go over any wake windows and he lets me contact nap or put him in the najel sleep carrier but that doesn’t work at night. I’m not sure if I didn’t put him down enough when he was smaller and that’s had an effect with this now.
I speak to other mums who babies are the same age and they all sleep through the night.
Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong please. This will be week 4 with hardly a sleep now.

Colic

My 6 week old is showing signs of colic (inconsolable crying in the evenings for hours, brings his legs up / kicks around a lot, arches back). He doesn’t really show signs of reflux.
He also refuses to lay in his crib or sleep on his back.

I was just wondering what people did to help this and your experiences? Should I get some Infacol?
