Me and my Bf are regularly in stupid arguments and he stays away for a few days then comes back. I’ve been thinking to not put his surname on baby’s name once baby is born.
What are your thoughts on this??
Does anyone else’s children only have (mums) surname.
Are there any implications in doing this??

If you’re not married he’s not entitled to be in the name simple

I’m thinking of doing the same thing

I can see why you’re considering it, especially if you two are regularly arguing and he’s disappearing for days at a time. ❤️
I’d just try not to make the decision while you’re in the middle of an argument or feeling hurt. Think about what surname you’d genuinely want your baby to have even if your relationship stayed exactly as it is now.
And yes, plenty of children have their mum’s surname, so it’s not unusual at all. Just remember that the surname and parental responsibility are separate things, so having your surname doesn’t automatically affect his parental responsibility.
I’d take the pressure off yourself and have a proper conversation about it when things are calm. ❤️

MY BABIES HAVE MINE

I wish I’d done this with my first. It’s a huge regret of mine.

I wish I didn’t give my bb my bfs last name
So this a little bit of a rant but also want to see what others think. I had a C-section because I was induced (had gestational doctor told me I basically had no option of induction). The induction was super stressful lasted almost 3 whole days. I was 6cm dilated by day 1 lasted 2 days with no progression. Baby was never in distress but because they broke my water and I didn’t want to stay in the hospital for longer I ended up in a C-section. I got told by the surgeon I could try for a natural delivery next pregnancy and to wait a year to get pregnant again. Fast forward to now I’m 19 weeks pregnant different hospital and OB. At my initial appointment OB said she was fine with me trying for a VBAC. I go into my appointment today and ask about my delivery because I am trying to get a doula covered for the birth just to get told the hospital doesn’t allow VBACS and so it’s not an option. I wish they would have told me then and not halfway through my pregnancy now I’m extremely stressed because I feel like the choice is being taken away from me just like my last pregnancy. I’m stuck trying to find a different OB mid pregnancy that will take my insurance or going into a birthing house that only does unmedicated labor which I don’t even know if I can because of my prior C-section. I’m so frustrated and angry at this heath care system that does not care about mothers everything is done to save their asses and fuck what happens to the patient. Sorry for long post just needed to get it out.

Hi all! Is there any items you’d reccomended for the hospital bag for someone having a C-Section? Any tips for a first time mum would be amazing. Thank you! 💖

Has anyone here who already had a history of multiple laparoscopies for PCOS/Endo/Adeno gone on to have a C-Section and been ok afterwards? I have requested one but the nurse advised that with my history (6 surgeries) the recovery could be really difficult, I might end up having much more scar tissue making the C-section itself difficult, and that all my endo/adeno symptoms could get worse.
I've been searching online but there's so few people who've ever shared their experience on this.
I had my heart set on a c-section because I've got a fear of labour/birth and really bad anxiety/trauma. Now I'm wondering if I'll be making my long term physical health worth for the sake of my mental health 😞

What did you do? Please only included pre planned trips out of the house. For example, a walk or a trip to the shop.
I am 1 week post emergency c section and not sure when to get out and about. Feeling okay but I don’t want to overdo it too soon.
Thank you!
