I feel like i can't tell my husband no. I can tell him I don't want to but for some reason it always keeps going and eventually I give up and try to enjoy it as much as i can. Hes not a bad guy but I have a really hard time resisting him when it comes to it. The problem is I am only 25 days postpartum and we've had sex 3 times already. I know my body isn't ready and I've told him as much. All he does is tell me he'll be gentle. Anyways he finished inside yesterday and I have been a nervous wreck. I am not on birth control yet since i haven'tbeen to my 6 week appointment yet. I got pregnant with our current newborn while breastfeeding and not even having 1 period after our toddler. This most recent pregnancy was very hard on me physically and our newborn is dealing with health issues. I am so scared to get pregnant again. I know its not likely that ive ovulated yet since I am breastfeeding still and haven't stopped my postpartum bleeding yet, but i am still stressing out.

Take a plan b and your anxiety will probably go away

I think you need to tell him exactly what you’re feeling and what he made you feel when you’re still freshly postpartum. This is a serious issue. It’s very scary. I know you want to focus on your newborn. So just take a test in 2weeks and if it’s negative keep testing until like 5weeks. They have those like 100 test strips on Amazon I think. After 5 weeks I’m sure you would know by then. And maybe tell him you’re dead serious you want to wait cause you don’t feel well and you want to focus on the children you already have. I’m really sorry.

I really feel for you ❤️ Especially after such a difficult pregnancy, I can understand why you’re so scared of getting pregnant again.
What worries me most is you saying you tell him you don’t want to, but it keeps going until you give in. You don’t owe him sex, and your no should be respected. Saying he’ll be gentle doesn’t change that.
Please don’t assume breastfeeding or still bleeding means you can’t get pregnant. I’d contact your GP or a sexual health clinic ASAP about emergency contraception, as some options are time-sensitive. You don’t have to wait for your six-week appointment.
You deserve time to heal and to feel listened to. ❤️

What concerns me most is that you’ve said you don’t want sex, yet your husband continues until you give in. “I’ll be gentle” doesn’t change that your ‘no’ should be respected. You don’t have to physically resist for it to count. ❤️ He needs to understand consent better, this is totally selfish of him !!
Breastfeeding and postpartum bleeding don’t guarantee you can’t ovulate, especially since you’ve previously become pregnant while breastfeeding. Emergency contraception may still be an option, so contact a pharmacist, GP, sexual health clinic or NHS 111 asap.
You’re recovering and caring for a newborn with health issues. You deserve to have your boundaries respected. ❤️

Having enthusiastic consent is important, being bugged in to saying yes because of being wore down, is not a yes in my opinion. I was married for 12 years and hated so many years of giving in to just shut him up. Praying that my baby would wake up so i could get up and away. It was trauma for me. If he knows how upset you are about it and does it anyways, that's not respect or love imo. Maybe couples therapy can help?

Your no should be final. It worries me that you’re feeling stupid, and that you think this is your fault. You just gave him *another* baby- recently at that. You do not owe him sex, I don’t care how gentle it is. Just because he isn’t yelling at you and forcing you physically, does not mean that he isn’t taking advantage of you. I know you say he’s a good guy, and I don’t know him to fully argue with you, but even if he’s a good guy, this is not a good thing he’s doing. That’s my honest thought. This is causing you deep physical and emotional distress, and finishing inside you is the cherry on top- it’s unnecessary.
You absolutely need to put your foot down and tell him no, and keep the no. If he has problems with you telling him no after you firmly explain the situation, then this unfortunately becomes a deeper relationship problem that will need to be worked out. Your health is important, and if he isn’t recognizing that, then that’s an issue, period.

I think you’re putting your self in a dangerous situation. That I don’t think you should take lightly . I would have a talk with your doctor be honest that you had sex because you six weeks appointment he did cum in you with out protection. Come up with a care plan . Seek a support system

You can still ovulate. For some reason we are VERY fertile when we’ve had a baby- no period. My sisters are 14m apart. My mum thought BF was a birth control too, from what she heard. Oh she was very wrong. Another thing I see from the post is that he doesn’t RESPECT your body. If he broke his leg and Dr said he absolutely cannot drive until 6w, wouldn’t we tell him off if he grabbed the keys at 5w? Of course we would. Coz we want him to HEAL. My midwife warns every single partner in the birth room to not initiate sex until at least 6w, and he was the one reminded me of that when I tried at 5w. Please go get some emergency contraception. And a pack of condoms to not allow him to cum inside again. Your terms- no condom no sex. It’s a very simple ask.
So my partner brother and family are flying back to Poland for Christmas
My partner is wanting to go too for Christmas and he has said he’s going with or without me (I have no annual leave left and I don’t want to be away from my son for a week)
We went to Poland this summer and there was about 10 people in one house my son stopped eating and just cried the whole time we was there & I have raised these concerns and all I get is ‘I’m going with or without you’
I’m prepared to end my 9 year relationship with him if he does take him away when I have raised my concerns and said no he’s not going
I have said he can go before or after Christmas I just don’t want him going during Christmas my fav time of year and he knows I do all the bdays and Christmas plan it all out do all the presents get everything ready
It will honestly break me if he takes him
His mum and dad was over while my son was 4 weeks old……phones multiple times couldn’t get hold of him & he was gone for about 5/6hrs when he said he would he 1 - yes he’s apologised for this but he still did it
I don’t know what I can do🥲

My 42 year old husband went out last night for his friends 40th. Its now almost midday and not only is he not home, but hasn't even contacted me. Im 6 months pregnant and we have a 3 year old. He goes over to that friends every friday night fot a few drinks and stays until usually 2. A couple times hes come home at 630 but never this late. Never apologises. But this feels like blatant disrespect. Im starting to suspect cheating too... what do you guys think?

Hello. I have started potty training my 16 month long old and it’s been going good so far. However I wanted to see if other moms have experienced a similar pattern as me. Day 1 full of accidents as expected. He does sit on the potty for long periods of time with no protest. Day 2 only a few accidents and used the potty. Day 3-4 my son is holding his pee for longer periods and isn’t making it to the potty. We sit on the potty together every 30 minutes and he won’t use it at all. He will sit with no protest and when directed he will run to the potty. But nothing happens. Then later he will be walking and say “uh-oh” while peeing. I feel like this is just part of the process but does anyone have any tips of getting a child who is comfortable sitting on the potty together actually correlate bathroom use to sitting on the potty.

These past 3 days especially today. Have been hard. I really need someone that’s not my mom to talk to right now.
My husband has been mad at me for 3 days now. And I don’t know why. I asked and apologized for things I thought it would be.
Today my son hit his face really hard on a table leg. Call doc they said he fine. I’m still going to go see a doc tomorrow just in case. But nothing I do or that has been said to me helping me claim down. My husband will not talk to me about it. And I know once he see it he only going to get more upset with me. I just need a hug and someone to talk to me. I’m a mess right now. And I’m worried like crazy about my baby.

My youngest has just turned 2 and will NOT eat vegetables. Its always been a thing, I swear if left to it he would just be a carnivore. Ive been sticking to the whole "dont pressure, just make it available, eventually after picking it up and playing with it they'll eat it" for... what feels like forever. He just won't. He picks it up, happily plays with it, squashes it but wont put it in his mouth. Try and sneak it onto a spoon with his other food and he simply moves it around in his mouth and spits out the veggie. The one thing i could get him to have, baked beans, has now wholly been rejected too. I never had this issue with my eldest, he isnt exactly easy with food either but veggies are mostly okay. Ive resorted to giving them vitamins after meal time because im so worried about what my youngest is actually getting in his diet and what affect that may be having.
Please help 🙏 im pulling my hair out with this
