My youngest has just turned 2 and will NOT eat vegetables. Its always been a thing, I swear if left to it he would just be a carnivore. Ive been sticking to the whole "dont pressure, just make it available, eventually after picking it up and playing with it they'll eat it" for... what feels like forever. He just won't. He picks it up, happily plays with it, squashes it but wont put it in his mouth. Try and sneak it onto a spoon with his other food and he simply moves it around in his mouth and spits out the veggie. The one thing i could get him to have, baked beans, has now wholly been rejected too. I never had this issue with my eldest, he isnt exactly easy with food either but veggies are mostly okay. Ive resorted to giving them vitamins after meal time because im so worried about what my youngest is actually getting in his diet and what affect that may be having.

Not much help because my son has been a turd with veg since he started solids tbh but I do make a lot of ācakesā as he knows the word and I hide veg in there š Iāve got carrot cupcakes and courgette chocolate cakes that only have cocoa powder in them not proper chocolate so theyāre kinda no sugar cupcakes that I add some honey or maple syrup to.

Could you make your own tomato sauce and put tonnes of veg in? I do that and my LO loves it

My daughter is exactly the same! My 3.5 year old will literally eat anything but my nearly 2 year old will not touch vegetables.
I put some on her plate at pretty much every meal and never put pressure on. Every now and again she might eat a tiny bit of carrot but the only way I can get veg in her is to hide it in a curry..she doesnt eat pasta so pasta sauces are out too.
She does eat fruit so thats something but I'm just going to keep trying and not worry too much about it as you can only expose them to good food and not force it xx

If my daughter doesn't like a specific veggie, I cook and blend a whole load of it and then sneak it into sauces. For example she won't eat courgettes but when I blended them with peas,.avocado and basil for a "pesto" sauce, then added it to pasta, she LOVED it. Even though 80% of it was courgette 𤣠same with butternut squash. I roast and blend that, and I can add the puree to macaroni cheese, lasagne (basically most pasta dishes tbh), curry, etc... obviously still offer the offending veggies, cooked different ways, but its a good way of sneaking them in in the meantime. Then over time you can blend it less and less so there are small chunks, then bigger chunks, etc etc...

Spag bol and Mac and cheese are my best ones for hiding veg. Spaghetti bol has tinned tomatoes obviously but I also hide grated courgette and carrot in the sauce and if you cook it long enough it basically dissolves. With Mac and Cheese I do a whole load of roasted veggies then blend them into basically a soup which I add a lot of cheese to make my cheese sauce. That and cakes Courgettes especially go in so many of the cakes I make same as carrot and beetroot

Hello. I have started potty training my 16 month long old and itās been going good so far. However I wanted to see if other moms have experienced a similar pattern as me. Day 1 full of accidents as expected. He does sit on the potty for long periods of time with no protest. Day 2 only a few accidents and used the potty. Day 3-4 my son is holding his pee for longer periods and isnāt making it to the potty. We sit on the potty together every 30 minutes and he wonāt use it at all. He will sit with no protest and when directed he will run to the potty. But nothing happens. Then later he will be walking and say āuh-ohā while peeing. I feel like this is just part of the process but does anyone have any tips of getting a child who is comfortable sitting on the potty together actually correlate bathroom use to sitting on the potty.

My 42 year old husband went out last night for his friends 40th. Its now almost midday and not only is he not home, but hasn't even contacted me. Im 6 months pregnant and we have a 3 year old. He goes over to that friends every friday night fot a few drinks and stays until usually 2. A couple times hes come home at 630 but never this late. Never apologises. But this feels like blatant disrespect. Im starting to suspect cheating too... what do you guys think?

I feel like i can't tell my husband no. I can tell him I don't want to but for some reason it always keeps going and eventually I give up and try to enjoy it as much as i can. Hes not a bad guy but I have a really hard time resisting him when it comes to it. The problem is I am only 25 days postpartum and we've had sex 3 times already. I know my body isn't ready and I've told him as much. All he does is tell me he'll be gentle. Anyways he finished inside yesterday and I have been a nervous wreck. I am not on birth control yet since i haven'tbeen to my 6 week appointment yet. I got pregnant with our current newborn while breastfeeding and not even having 1 period after our toddler. This most recent pregnancy was very hard on me physically and our newborn is dealing with health issues. I am so scared to get pregnant again. I know its not likely that ive ovulated yet since I am breastfeeding still and haven't stopped my postpartum bleeding yet, but i am still stressing out.

These past 3 days especially today. Have been hard. I really need someone thatās not my mom to talk to right now.
My husband has been mad at me for 3 days now. And I donāt know why. I asked and apologized for things I thought it would be.
Today my son hit his face really hard on a table leg. Call doc they said he fine. Iām still going to go see a doc tomorrow just in case. But nothing I do or that has been said to me helping me claim down. My husband will not talk to me about it. And I know once he see it he only going to get more upset with me. I just need a hug and someone to talk to me. Iām a mess right now. And Iām worried like crazy about my baby.
