My manager text me whilst I was on holiday and now I'm worried. Can I go away during maternity leave?
I'm from the UK. I was on full pay for 30 weeks and now on SMP.

From the UK, yes you can your on maternity leave you are not at work you are well within your right to go on holiday while on mat leave, you do not need to let your employer know as technically you are not working for x amount of months.
Even if you weren't on maternity leave, your manager shouldn't be texting you when you're on holiday. You can do whatever you like on maternity leave! Thats odd 🤔

In need of friends/stressed struggling
Hello moms. Im so very ashamed to be writing this but would any moms out there wanna talk? Ive been dealing with alot lately and could use some mom friends to talk to. I really dont have many people/ friends.I could also use some help getting a few groceries. I do have a 12 year old who is autistic and he has his safe foods.
