cluster feeding its totally normal! my 2 month old baby eats like every half hour, have you tried pumping ? that can help you with giving you a break

Very normal and I promise it’s worth sticking at and it gets so much easier. In the early months she would breast feed for hours at a time and cluster fed. It was exactly what she needed to do as she really built up my milk supply and her feeds gradually became quicker and quicker.
At 3 months old things really changed and she’d feed 15 mins per boob (30 mins total) and be good for around an hour and a half. At 6 months now, she’ll spend around 5-6 minutes per boob and is happy for 2 hours. It’s so easy. I wanted to quit so many times in the first few months but I’m so glad I didn’t. I don’t have to think about her feeds at all anymore it comes so naturally. I don’t pump as I personally find it twice the amount of work and headache. I stressed so much about it until I just decided not to. It means I have to be with baby all the time but I’m fine with that.
I would recommend baby wearing, we are carry mammals and are meant to have our babies on us for the first few months xx

If baby doesn't have any weight gain issues or health concerns, I'd really recommended holding back from tracking every feed. It can make things feel worse in a weird way. I found the same with sleep when my little girl was older. If I tracked how many wakes I'd feel more tired!
The cluster feeding is so tiring but super important to regulate your milk supply, if breast feeding is something you want to do longer term. Do you have someone around to bring you water and food? My best advice is to put the tracker away, get some nice TV on, and just accept that little one may be at the breast for most of the next few days, while making yourself comfy and cosy.
Side lie feeding is also amazing if you are tired. I can recommend Happycosleeper for advice about this.
I promise it does pass. It feels endless when you're in it, but I always kept in my mind that one day in the future it would feel like a distant memory... and now it does! (still bfeeding my 22 month old).

btw the whole cleaning the pumps can be tiring BUT there is this method called the fridge method where you can store your pumps in the fridge without having to wash them everytime you pump, you only wash them once a day or every 24 hours, if you do end up pumping I will suggest you keep nursing as well though so you can keep
up your supply.
I will also recommend you seeking your OB and telling them about your mood, they can help you with that, I went to my 2 week postpartum appointment and based on what I answered on a questionnaire that they make you do, my ob ended up prescribing me some medicine and I feel great, you dont need to feel like this! I got the baby blues the first week as well as panic attacks and it was horrible and now I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression but I’m getting much better now, goodluck mama sending you a big hug! 💕

Have you considered a wrap carrier instead of putting baby down?

It’s definitely very difficult and it really sucks when you’re in it but honestly it’s a few days, it passes and if you stick with bsf it’s so rewarding afterwards 😌 I remember I was having mental breakdowns babe but I just took one feed at a time, btw definitely a lot easier if you do side lying in bed position and literally just lay in bed all day… I know you want to get out of the house, I’ve had a C section too and I know but you need the rest so much more! I popped stitches literally just from walking to the corner and back with my baby in the first 3 weeks of it. Anyway yes I’m 8 weeks pp now and I’m so happy I stuck with it, even when he’s cluster feeding now I just learned how to cope with it and your mind literally adapts to it at some point and it’ll become easy. Just hard until you get to that point
Ive cried all day and I feel so bad for doing it!! Ive been out a couple times and my stomach is swollen now but im not in too much pain i just dont love being couped up all day but I know I need rest. Its really helpful to hear that it does get better though I definitely want to try and stick with it

Im right there with you, my LO is now 2 weeks old after my c section and Ive found the same. Like its insane. I don't have any advice really but I saw a lactation specialist yesterday and shes given me some pointers to help with feeding. She said to do breast compressions to help speed up feeding, and she said to switch boob's everytime the feeding slows down.

Hang in there… it gets easier and better

So me and my mum were just in the playground with my 21 month old. We made our way to a little playhouse and there was another little boy who seemed the same age, maybe a little older with his dad and older brother nearby.
I looked at the dad and he seemed so laid back he might aswell of been laid in the bushes. One earphone in, kind of looked distant.
I encourage my son into this playhouse, holding his hand. The little boy comes over and basically barges his way in and stands in the way so my son couldn’t come in. I’m obviously still encouraging him to go in and trying to chat to this little boy about how nice the playhouse is.
He swipes some leaves and sticks off a little table inside which makes my son jump so he steps back and this little boy leaves. He then follows us to the slide and he’s using his body to basically block my son. Kicking his leg so he can’t get on. The slide was massive and attached to a massive climbing frame. There was plenty of space for several kids.
It got to the point where we had to explain to this little boy that his behaviour isn’t very nice and to stop. The dad was on his phone still with an earphone in.
Now I try my hardest, even more so now I’m a mum to not judge and fully understand kids are kids and sharing, social skills ect are being learnt but I feel like those kids were in charge of their dad, not the other way around. At what point do you stop being so understanding and throat punch the dad 🤷🏽♀️

From the moment I gave birth to a boy I’ve been hearing comments about how he’s going to be rude and mess with all the girls and he won’t have any behavior. I don’t understand why they insist and on saying these things just because he’s a boy is this normal comment for a baby boy?

Have we put our babies in their own rooms yet?? I know it’s recommended around 6 months but I don’t feel ready yet. Can someone educate me on why we are supposed to do it at this age??
