Anyone here with a low placenta and don't mind sharing what has been told to them regarding birth?
They found out I have a low placenta at an extra scan at 31 weeks (18mm away from cervix), and I really do not want to have a c section. I will of course if I have to, but I hope not.

I was told I had placenta praevia at 20 weeks (completely covering the birth canal), and I’m now 33 weeks and it’s completely moved up out of the way! It must be at least 20mm clear of the birth canal so you’re actually on the cusp at 18mm, so I’d request another scan to check around 34 weeks, especially if you really don’t want a c section x

I was diagnosed at 20 weeks. Ive had 2 big bleeds since then and now im being admitted to hospital tomorrow morning and baby is scheduled for a csection Tuesday morning. Ill be 35 weeks exactly 😭

Exactly the same measurement at 18mm at 32 week scan. I was 6mm away at my 20 week scan so it has moved.
Honestly doctors haven’t told me anything about birth yet, but I need to have a 36 week scan. I already know it means a c section if it doesn’t move, but I’m due a consultation soon x
Baby’s also measuring large so have to have extra growth scans as well.
I’ve recently had a d&c, this will be my 5th miscarriage.
I’m feeling incredibly low and honestly the only reason I feel I’m here is for my toddler. He is the only thing that brings me any light at the moment.
I don’t feel that my best friend (who I’ve told about my miscarriages) is bothered in the slightest about me and feels as though I’m an effort to message or
Check in on.
I feel people don’t understand that one or two losses is upsetting as it is but 5 is really making me think how different my life is going to be compared to how I thought it would be.
My partners family haven’t bothered asking about me and my mum is supportive but just says it will happen when it does.
I get nobody can help but I feel like
I’m getting further and further into a dark hole and I don’t know what to do ☹️

I'm having my first child on 20/10 via c section and will be solo parenting from the start. I've been calm about everything throughout my pregnancy but over the last few days, Ive been experiencing panic attacks and have been really emotional and freaked out about the c section and about how I will cope after the birth. I don't have much of a village so I'll be recovering and taking care of my so, alone, as soon as he's born and I'm scared about the pain during recovery and how I'll actually look after my son, on my own, after having major abdominal surgery.
I guess it's mainly the fear of the unknown. Anyone else experience this? How did you deal with the anxiety and fear? Any practical advice about coping on your own, after a c section? Thank you

I’m 18+4 with my 2nd baby and like with my first I have an anterior placenta. I can’t remember off the top of my head when I first felt his movements but so far I’ve not felt baby girl. I thought I had flutters about a month ago but nothing since. Everywhere (including midwives) suggest that with a 2nd pregnancy you can feel movements sooner as you know what to look out for but for me it’s not the case. I just don’t feel anything. I had a private scan a week ago and she was happy healthy and moving around. With my first I had many trips to triage as I couldn’t feel him and I can see this being the case this time. I’m just not sure when to expect to feel anything and at what point I should raise it with somebody. Feel as if I should know this being my 2nd pregnancy 🤦🏼♀️

Did your wound become itchy at 1 week post c section?
Mine has become itchy today and sore. Is this normal? No signs of infection.

38 weeks and 4 days. Ended up in triage due to reduced movements today and extreme pain as in contractions just to be told they’re braxton hicks and that i am only 0.5cm dilated😭. HOW ARE THEY SO PAINFUL?! genuinely taking my breath away? I’m not gonna survive this? Is anyone else the same? I have my sweep booked for monday, and honestly just dreading it

My little one is 11 weeks old and still hates tummy time on the floor. She's happy as anything doing it on us or when we hold her up so her neck is doing great, howwwever because she doesnt like the floor shes not really pushing herself up / using her arms when on the floor. I keep seeing all these "by 3 months babies should be able to push up with their arms, etc" and worrying shes almost at that stage and not near doing it. Anyone else the same?😬
