C section fear
I'm having my first child on 20/10 via c section and will be solo parenting from the start. I've been calm about everything throughout my pregnancy but over the last few days, Ive been experiencing panic attacks and have been really emotional and freaked out about the c section and about how I will cope after the birth. I don't have much of a village so I'll be recovering and taking care of my so, alone, as soon as he's born and I'm scared about the pain during recovery and how I'll actually look after my son, on my own, after having major abdominal surgery.
I guess it's mainly the fear of the unknown. Anyone else experience this? How did you deal with the anxiety and fear? Any practical advice about coping on your own, after a c section? Thank you

Dilation…
38 weeks and 4 days. Ended up in triage due to reduced movements today and extreme pain as in contractions just to be told they’re braxton hicks and that i am only 0.5cm dilated😭. HOW ARE THEY SO PAINFUL?! genuinely taking my breath away? I’m not gonna survive this? Is anyone else the same? I have my sweep booked for monday, and honestly just dreading it

Itchy wound 1 week post c section
Did your wound become itchy at 1 week post c section?
Mine has become itchy today and sore. Is this normal? No signs of infection.

C section wound incision. Normal or not?
I had an emergency c section 5 days ago and my incision feels irritated. Doesn’t smell, no puss or rash. Is this normal? Could it just be itching from the healing process?
I haven’t actually looked at it myself yet but my husband says it looks okay.

Low placenta
Anyone here with a low placenta and don't mind sharing what has been told to them regarding birth?
They found out I have a low placenta at an extra scan at 31 weeks (18mm away from cervix), and I really do not want to have a c section. I will of course if I have to, but I hope not.
