I'm feeling very overwhelmed at 34+5. I've had anemia throughout my pregnancy and have managed to get my head round nutrition and medication to boost my levels. Then this week i was referred for another GTT following a scan to check my low lying placenta has moved because baby was showing as LGA. Turns out despite passing it at 28 weeks i now have GD.
Researching what i need to so to manage GD while i wait on an appointment and theres so much advice which conflicts with the anemia and my PGP i.e. cheese is brilliant for GD but blocks iron; and go for a brisk walk after each meal but i have crutches for PGP. I'm so overwhelemed and have had horrible anxiety all weekend trying to figure it all out on my own, i've started doubting my ability to even give birth now despite this being my 2nd and last baby was LGA and delivered naturally. Anyone else having a horrible time? How are we coping with what is now a crumbling state of mental health?

Sorry to hear you are having a tricky time! I also have GD, PGP, low iron and low b12. My placenta is high, however has an accessory lobe which worries me about some being retained but I’m going to ask for a scan after to make sure all is out.
Baby girl is showing as small and may need to come early, have a scan at 36 weeks to see if need to be induced around 37 weeks or if can hold out a little longer.
Sometimes you just need to speak to people so always reach out to friends and family if you just need somebody to listen. It can make it so hard just sitting with all this information yourself and starting to worry on your own xx
Did you notice any signs or anything before labor started?
I’m 39 weeks and a day and I’ve had the runs with everything I eat and felt a bit sick yesterday. Really hoping things kick off naturally and I don’t need to be induced. I’m a first time mom so not a clue what to expect.
I feel like I’ve been losing my mucus plug for weeks so don’t think that will be a sign unless it becomes a bit bloody.
Is it right that your waters don’t have to go first and you can just start with contractions?

I’m 6 weeks 3 days today I’ve had no bleeding until just now… my pants are black but when pressing tissue on them there’s blood and when I wiped there was blood now. Is this normal? I’ve had no cramping etc

I’ve got my 20 week scan when I’m there can I ask for my matb1 or does it have to come from my midwife who I see in the surgery

I'm due in January and my husband and I are trying to figure out what to name her. We want to do something unique because we both have super common names. Any suggestions?

Hiya, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or something similar?
I’m currently 34+3 with a 97% baby (currently 5lb 8oz) and I’ve had around 4–5 episodes of really severe stomach/rib and back pain over the last 3 weeks.
The worst episode was 9/10 pain and lasted around 4 hours. It started underneath my boobs/ribs and around into my middle/lower back. It was a constant pain that wouldn’t stop rather than coming and going.
I couldn’t stand straight, sit, lie down or kneel comfortably and could only really bend forward. I also had vomiting, dizziness/seeing stars and sweating.
I went into MFAU because of it and they monitored baby, took swabs and checked me over. They put it down to possible food poisoning/bowel issues.
I’ve had a few episodes of this now so surely it’s not just that ?
I think he has been changing between head-down and transverse. It’s made me wonder whether the pain could possibly be happening when he moves transverse and then eases when he moves back, or whether it genuinely is bowel/digestive related.
Has anyone had anything similar, Did you ever figure out what was causing it? ♡
