Breastfed and sleeping through the night.

Does anyone’s breastfed baby sleep all the way through the night like 7pm till 7am?

If so how ?! Is it even possible?

11 till 11 for me with a few feeds inbetween. My baby does avoid his daytime naps (despite my best efforts) maybe only getting a few total hours through the day. I just have to appreciate the fact i get night sleep when I can only imagine that'd be many parents dream haha x

I'd love to know this too! My little girl still wakes every 2 hours.

Are you feeding them lying down? My boobs are basically available all night and my son will just latch on and feed in his sleep, meaning he usually sleeps through from about 8-6 unless he’s woken by the noise of me and my husband, or our eldest. Even then, he usually falls straight back to sleep as soon as he starts feeding. His day time naps are pretty dreadful and hard work though.

Having had a truly horrendous sleeper for my eldest, I genuinely think so much of sleep comes down to luck and their personality.

Our daughter is breastfed and sleeps 7-7 - again I think a LOT of it is pure luck! We do bath, massage and her Vitamin D drops before bed (so lots of cues that it's night time), and I offer lots of feeds in the couple of hours before bed to make sure she's as full as possible. Also Ewan the dream sheep is very helpful for us - we have the one that automatically comes on if she stirs in the night, so it lulls her back to sleep before she fully wakes. She seems to be sleeping more deeply since we moved her into her own room too!

How long did baby sleep in your room?

My little one is only just 4 months but is rolling and already pretty much grown out of his next to me crib in size! I am an anxious mum and a stickler for following safety guidelines so we are going to dismantle and rebuild his big cot in our bedroom. Obviously that's a big of a faff for just 2 months but the more I think about it the more I can't even think about him moving into his own bedroom anytime soon... It feels so wrong to me to just stick my infant in his own bedroom? 😂 But obviously I know it needs to happen at some point so I'm just curious to see when other parents did the transition whether earlier or later?

Stains

Moms, what actually works for getting stains out of your kids’ clothes? 😅 I’m dealing with grease marks and all the random toddler stains. What products do you swear by, and do you pretreat, soak, or just throw everything in the wash?

Naps at nursery

My little boy will be 10 months old when he starts nursery, he currently needs holding/cuddling to fall asleep then I can place him down in his cot to nap once’s he’s fell asleep. He won’t settle on his own it just results in him screaming crying. But I’m worried about when he starts nursery, will the staff there do the same at nap time or will he expected to self settle himself to sleep?

Why are people posting pics of blood abd mucus plugs without the sensitive content warning??? Not everyone has the stomach to see that, there's first time moms on here who don't need to see it like have some consideration for others??

Night time

Hey moms I’m a new momma my daughter is 3 days old she’s cried most all night she’s been a great behaved baby but at night she cries and cries she’s been fed clean diaper I try to sooth her and I feel just mentally exhausted any advice on newborns who cry at night and tips for feeling overwhelmed being a new mom

Vaccinations

My boy has his first round of vaccinations today. How did people prep for it? Some HV & docs say to give calpol 30 mins before the appointment but some say don’t….. what did you do?
