Am I being really silly? There was a post a few days ago where people were saying their 5 month olds nap for 30-45 mins but are having 3-4 naps a day.
So are you following wake windows? What time are your LO’s waking up? What time do they go to bed? I imagine if that’s the case, they either wake up late or go to bed early?
I stress about my LO having long naps because that way he’ll have 3 naps a day, and we’ll be able to reach his bedtime of 7:30pm with 3 naps.

Are normal day is
7:00 wake
8:30 nap (40 mins)
12:00 nap (40 mins)
15:30 nap (80 mins)
20:00 bedtime
No idea if this is normal but it works for us 😂

My LO has 3 naps a day wakes at 6/7 and goes to bed around 7/7.30. Naps are only about 40 minutes and tend to be contact

Our normal day is
7am wake
10am nap (1hr)
1pm nap (30mins)
4pm nap (30 mins)
7:30pm bedtime
It can vary depending on night wakes though.

I follow wake windows - my normal schedule for my 5 month old is:
7.30 wake
9.30/10am sleep
2pm sleep
5ish sleep
7.30/8pm bedtime
Naps are 30 mins to 2hrs usually, but mostly just 30’mins each

My son is 6mo and had 3 hour nap today between 11-2 he then woke up and slept for 30 minutes at 4pm he’s now just gone to bed for the night and will wake up around 8am xx

My daughter is 5 months old and I genuinely just let her sleep whenever she’s tired through the day😂 I sent myself crazy trying to get my son into a daytime routine and it never worked and he’s 21 months now and a terrible sleeper. My daughter on the other hand I just follow her queues, sometimes she’s awake for 4 hours straight, sometimes she has long naps and sometimes she has little 15 min naps and she’s an incredible sleeper at night. Don’t stress yourself over how many day time naps your little one has he will let you know if he’s tired or not❤️❤️

My 5 month old’s sleep looked like this today and most days are similar with a few changes here and there depending on nap length:
Wake 6:10am (usually awake by 6:30am most days)
Nap 8am (40 mins in the cot, could have got longer if this was a contact nap)
Nap 11:20am (surprisingly an hour in the cot at my mums, he was fed prior but not fed to sleep-had dozed off about 10 mins in the car on the way to my parents so hence the longer wake window)
Nap 2:20pm (contact nap for an hour and a half, I put him down next to me on the sofa after about an hour)
Nap 5:30pm (30 mins exactly)
Bedtime between 7:30/8pm, fell asleep tonight after a bottle at 7:55pm
I use huckleberry to help with wake windows but I don’t follow them too strictly and look out for tired cues. Max 4 hours of daytime sleep, prefer 3.5 hours. We’re still on 4 naps and I think it’s due to the 6am start most days to be honest but with his hour cot nap today, I’m optimistic some longer naps in the cot are creeping back in!

Not following wake windows, when she rubs her eyes I put her for a nap, she has fallen into 3/4 naps a day usually 30-45 mins and goes to bed at 7. They do generally fall into their own routine on their own, I think I almost made myself go crazy with my first and wake windows so this time round I’ve just followed her lead and we’re in the same position even though we don’t follow timings x
Has anyone skipped giving their little one a bath because its gotten too late? Even if they got bit dirty after tea? My little one has a bath tonight usually but cos shes had tea late an her bedtime is soon it just seems right to leave it. I feel bad

Hello, my baby is 4 weeks old and EBF.
I woke up last night and realised baby was still asleep after 4 hours. Should I be waking him to feed/nappy change, or do I count my blessings and wait for him to wake me up when he’s ready?
He’s way past his birth weight now, so not concerned about that, but obviously he still has a tiny tummy and I was concerned he was likely sleeping in a soiled nappy.
I very much doubt this will be a regular occurrence but would like to know what to do for next time. Last night we chose to wake him up 🤔

Can anyone offer advice of how to move from formula to cows milk at 12 months please?
Do you have to wean them over to the cows milk? If so, when, as the guidance is only formula until 12 months and cows milk only in food until that point.
Or do you just give cows milk one day and never give formula again?
Finding it a bit of a mine field! What if she won’t drink the cows milk!

Took my baby out in a sling today and we went for a walk to the shop. He slept through wind, noisy cars, horns beeping and a busy shop but at home if my knee clicks or something he wakes immediately?! 🤣

I’m really struggling to decide on the best monitor to buy. I would ideally love one that detects movement/ rolling over on front. But at this point I’m just looking for recommendations as it’s super stressing me out 🙈😭
