My little one is 11 weeks and breastfed 75% of the time and the rest expressed milk & bottle. His feeding cues are suddenly very confusing compared to when he was tiny as he’s always munching at his hands even after a feed and sometimes while the bottle/breast is in his mouth. So confused if he’s still hungry as he’s never been fully settled after feeds due to reflux. Or if I’m even giving him too much as he suddenly doesn’t stay on the breast as long, kicks off when I try give him the second breast and can also be fussy with drinking the bottle and take ages on them?! He feeds around every 1.5 hours still.
Has anyone else had confusing changes around this age?

My baby is 12 weeks started rejecting the breast about 4 weeks ago after about 7 mins would get so fussy and then cry if I tried to re latch, so I expressed milk and checked to see if she was still hungry with a bottle and drank the whole thing. So started bottle feeding, now she is also rejecting the bottle after about 60ml im exhausted. Shes not drinking enough milk but is still clearly hungry. Im genuinely at a loss.
They naturally start chewing hands at that age so it's super confusing to know if they are hungry or comfort sucking on the hands 😢

Yeah chewing their hands becomes meaningless at this stage, they've finally discovered they have hands and they like chewing them for fun!

I feel the same. My LO is 10 weeks and feel like I don't know her feeding cues at all now. She doesn't even root much anymore. I know they become more efficient at feeding so could explain the short time on the breast! My LO also becomes fussy and the GP said it can be that they can't distinguish if it's hungry or belly ache they're experiencing!

Doesn’t mean feeding but yes, totally normal. My baby has also just found her hands and her voice

It’s no longer a feeding cue at this age, they’ve just discovered they have hands! You may find them doing more things with their mouth too. Google mouthing x
I specifically mentioned in my post this is a no judgement group chat & this is the first thing she does be careful because me and my friend were once in a group chat with her a while back and she talked so dirty to us because we gave our babies purees said "your doctors know nothing " "your baby is gonna have issues " and "yall are dumb" that "i trust online research not my doctors " just beware!!!

Okay moms. I’m feeling super guilty. I let my 10 month old watch ms Ratchel, it’s not an every day thing but I run out of ideas to play with him. He refuses to crawl, hates tummy time and has no interest in wanting to try. Any other moms currently going through this?

I was just curious if anyone has switched formulas. My 12 week old baby has been on aptamil 1 since birth but due to crap mat pay and the prices of formula nowadays I was wondering if anyone can advise if they switched and (or) if they've used aptamil and changed; which brand did they switch to. Thanks mummas

Does anybody else’s baby suffer with infant dyschezia, my little one is 8 weeks old tomorrow and passes loose/watery stools, however everytime he needs to go he strains, goes red and screams until it passes which sometimes can take hours. We currently give him lactulose which doesn’t help as his stools are already soft anyway. We have tried the usual warm baths, bicycle legs, tummy massages etc. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Ok my 2 yr old does not listen to me. I know everyone says that but what do you do when it starts lol. We were walking on the side walk and he just took off (he’s never done that before) I was running yelling after me and he was laughing. I got so scared because we live on a boulevard so it’s busy. But just lately he’s been saying no no no to me and runs away. Idk what to do especially in situations like this that are dangerous.

Hello,
I applied for my baby’s first passport on the 10th of August and sent the dad’s passport and the full birth certificate as the dad is the one who is British. On the tracking, I can see that the documents were received on the 18th of August and up till this very moment, it’s not moved from that. We did the standard processing time and it’s about 5wks+ now since documents were received. Unsure why it’s taking this long and if anyone has similar experience or advice. My baby’s dad has an emergency where he needs to travel internationally and he’s thinking we should request his passport back and let the application continue. Don’t think that’s wise but it’s been way too long and it’s super important that he travels by next week.
We called the passport office and they advise to continue waiting without any much info. They said if we need the dad’s passport that we’ll have to send an email to request for it and also mentioned the application will still continue. I don’t know how true this is. We plan to call them on Monday and then send the email to request just the dad’s passport back. I don’t know if we can ask them to upgrade the application and pay for a faster processing at this point as it’s way past the 3wks normal standard processing time.
Really disturbed by this. I’ll appreciate any advice or guidance on this.
