Is it “crossing a boundary” to breastfeed in front on my sk? i genuinely breastfeed everywhere regardless of who is around and my home when my sk is here is not going to be the exception nor do i feel i should have to hide in my room everytime my baby is hungry.
bm thinks that im boundary crossing and being indecent and has an issue with it, mind you sd didnt have an issue or feel uncomfortable, bm looked for the information and asked sk if i breastfeed and if she has seen me do it.
I dont pump or bottle feed, and i refuse to hide in my room.
She claims it shouldn’t be an issue for me to use formula on days that sk is here because “sk wasnt breastfed and she shouldn’t be exposed to that”
i think thats completely unreasonable and that she should stick to policing her own home.
Hubby agrees with me & has told her that none of that is going to happen.
but im still wondering if maybe im wrong?

I threw a Muslim blanket over the baby if my bonus kids were in the room, granted they were nine and 11 and I just didn’t want them to see my breast personally. The nine-year-old daughter did ask me questions about it, and I answered all the questions and wasn’t shy about what was happening.

It is decent to BF in public so OF COURSE you can always breastfeed in your home. Tell your SK and their BM that SK is always welcome to go to to their room if they wish.

I'm assuming sk stands for step kid... as long as you're not walking around top less breastfeeding, if you're just pulling the boobie out just enough to feed no ma'am that is not an issue. If the step kids momma has an issue she can address it with your husband and your husband needs to shut her down.

No you’re not wrong. I think you should do whatever you’re most comfortable with and if that is bf in the open, then it is what it is. Baby momma has no say on what you do in your home for your baby. And saying you need to use formula when your stepchild is there is dumb AF.
All she’s trying to do is control. I would typically say let your husband handle communication but she’s spoken on you about crossing a boundary, go put her in her place and keep bf.
Has anyone got one of these from a brand they recommend? Not sure if Coco seat is a UK brand or what it's like as a company?
Thanks in advance!

My 12 week old uses Aldi Mamia size 3 nappies during the day with no problems, but at night both Mamia and Pampers Premium Protection size 3 have leaked after a few hours. Has anyone got tips for nighttime leaks or recommendations for other brands or strategies?

Hi all so my nearly 3 week old is wanting to sleep through the night she has had no issues with her weight and is gaining really well. Can I let her sleep through or do I keep waking her? TIA x

My baby is 15 weeks on Saturday. He used to sleep 9ish-6am with only 1 wake for a feed. He’s now ready for bed at 7/7:30 and sleeping until 7am but waking for 3 feeds! He had dropped to 6 5oz bottle but has now added in an extra one at 11pm. I’ve tried him with some 6oz bottles in the day but he struggled with them. What’s going on? Do I need to ride it out or try and up his daytime intake?

Ok my 2 yr old does not listen to me. I know everyone says that but what do you do when it starts lol. We were walking on the side walk and he just took off (he’s never done that before) I was running yelling after me and he was laughing. I got so scared because we live on a boulevard so it’s busy. But just lately he’s been saying no no no to me and runs away. Idk what to do especially in situations like this that are dangerous.
