Hi all so my nearly 3 week old is wanting to sleep through the night she has had no issues with her weight and is gaining really well. Can I let her sleep through or do I keep waking her? TIA x

We just went through this! Our pediatrician had us waking him every 3hrs to feed but at his 1 mo appt said we could let him sleep. I’m not sure if it was because he was 1mo or because he was over 10 lbs but it’s lovely to not have to wake him anymore. We wanted to follow what the doc recommended but I know some couples who ignored that advice 🤷♀️

I was told if baby is above birth weight let them sleep ☺️ and you get the sleep too mama!!! Xxx

Our baby is the same, I’m EBF though so my midwife told me to wake him after 5 hours so I don’t get mastitis so just be mindful of that if your feeding yourself 🥰
I’m just now one week postpartum my daughter’s dad who wanted a baby really desperately ghosted me in the Pregnacy had excuses every time for why he wouldn’t show up he’s been in and out didn’t buy nothing for the baby I had contact with him asked he wanted to know anything after she was born. Wanted to know who she resembled her entire name about the birth certificate said he wanted to meet his daughter asked if the Drs asked where the dad was at delivery then he disappeared again won’t respond it breaks my heart we dated he used to be completely different then now he’s gone again I feel I won’t be happy again I won’t find a good guy one day and just be happy can some moms tell me ur story dose gets better did you ever move on from ur child’s father get married or was happy?

6 week old fusses the whole night, literally.
Feed her, have to hold her upright for 20-30mins and then put her down 20-30mins later she is fussing and needs settling. She gets put down, but its 20-30mins later shes unsettled again. She has white noise etc, even sleeping next to me doesnt help as she just fusses there.
This is repeated quite literally the WHOLE night. Please give me some advice as im going on no sleep every single night and feel like im on a downward spiral mentally.

How long do people generally wait before having visitors after baby comes?

My little one is 13 weeks old and I’m wondering whether I should have a routine figured out by now?
We generally start bedtime around the same time in the evenings but throughout the day he naps at different times, and I feed him as and when he shows signs of hunger.
The only reason I’m questioning this is because I get asked questions like ‘when did he last feed?’ But I don’t keep track of the exact time I just know roughly how long ago it was.

I was hoping someone could help. I’m hoping to breastfeed but I’m not sure what is the best nursing bra to get as I’ve got quite large breasts naturally. Would it be best I go into a shop like m&s and speak to bra fitters? Or would I just be able to go into Primark and get ones in a size l/xl ?

As my LO's first birthday is approaching, I am getting hit with a really heavy sense of nostalgia, missing the lead up to my baby's delviery, even labour and that fresh post partum feeling. My question is, does it feel as special the second time around?? Im upset I'll bever get to experience that feeling again.
