My midwife said sex can help soften cervix as there is prostaglandin in
sperm and that’s the hormone they give you to induce you. Good luck!

My mom said what induced her labour with my younger brother was an old fashioned way of scrubbing the floors. On all fours and after 5mins her waters broke and rushed to the hospital in the middle of night. Hospital was an hour away for her.

With my first it technically did work! 😂 Had sex in the evening and labour started at 5am the following morning. I personally think it was a coincidence and it's more down to when your body and baby are ready. I'd also been doing loads of birthing ball bouncing and kerb walking in the weeks leading up, and I was also a few days shy of 40 weeks.
