My almost 8 weeks goes to sleep nightime, we change him, white noise, breastfeeding, we rock him a bit and move him to bassinet, wrap him tight as well, he falls asleep by himself for 3h then he just doesnt go back, up every hour, fights being wrapped- tried love to dream, not a fan, he only wants to sleep on me what else I can do š

I have the same problem, my baby is 7 weeks old today and wonāt sleep without me. Iāll get him to sleep in my arms and within 10-20 minutes of me transferring him into his crib heās crying. Itās 5am now and he hasnāt slept more than 20 mins in the crib tonight. Iām a single mum and doing this with no support and no sleep. I was getting upset no more than 10 minutes ago, left the room and let him cry it out whilst I had a couple of minutes, Iāve come back in and he isnāt asleep yet but he is trying to settle himself. I donāt know if this is going to work or if heāll cry in the next 10 minutes but this is the furthest I have gotten all week. Since Iām going through it myself I donāt have any advice but to be persistent as Iām doing. Donāt get him out if he cries, keep giving him his dummy, if itās persistently crying then get him to sleep in your arms again and try once more otherwise put him down leave the room and come back once youāve had a minute and he may settle himself! āŗļø

My baby is the same, but she wonāt go in her next to me cot at all or fall asleep
Independentlyš«she will only sleep if sheās rocked, patted & walked around. If I try to transfer her anywhere she wakes up asapš¤£Iāve tried absolutely everything!!
I now co-sleep (my midwife actually suggested to try it) she now has 2-3 hour stretches! Itās literally saved me x

He doesnt like to lay in bed either unless is on me š© are we hoping this magically going to change soon?

I went through very similar nights with my firstborn, back and forth from the cot all night, crying my eyes out at times - itās so hard. I know itās not for everyone, but learning how to safely cosleep saved me. Iāve been cosleeping with this baby (6 weeks) since we got home and life has felt much more relaxed, and less sleep deprived. I follow the safe sleeping 7 - check out the lullaby trust for more guidance.
I have a 10 week old baby who will only sleep when held day or night. Itās ruining my mental health.
I spend hours every day trapped under him in silence with white noise that gives me a headache because Iām so sleep deprived. I feel stiff and sore. I feel lonely, bored and frustrated. Every attempt at transfer just fails. I have tried every trick in the book short of buying a snoo. He absolutely hates the carrier. I feel like a terrible mother because Iām supposed to be enjoying the snuggles. But they feel forced. Iām trapped until he wakes up for a feed and change. Only then I have literally 5 minutes to quickly go toilet or eat something- do a small chore. I have no one who can help and take the pressure off me. Friends are too busy š¢ There is no village so there is nobody to help. Family live far and are dysfunctional af so I canāt even go to themšš We co-sleep, which I hate. I feel terrified Iām going to wake up and find him passed out. I thought Iād break the cycle and never make my son feel like he was difficult to love. But 10 weeks in, Iāve already failed. Heās not choosing to give me a hard time. Heās a baby who doesnāt know how to sleep alone and needs my help, and Iām struggling to meet this need. He has reflux and possibly colic too now which is making me even more sad for him and depressed. Iām not looking for practical advice on how to get him sleeping on his own. Trust me, I have tried every practical advice i have found online so far. Iām looking to vent and for similar stories or for advice on how to cope with the isolation of this mentally, or any words of comfort.
Please Iām desperate.
There seems to be no end in sight.
I donāt know how to carry on like this.

First time mama to a 1 month old perfect boy!š©µ
For the first 3 weeks of his life doctors ignored me about his symtoms and suspected CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) because im a "first time worried mum" It took for him to start pooping blood for them to listen!
5/6 days into him having his allergy milk, 8/10 of his symptoms have cleared up& i have a happier more content baby!š¤

Has anyone experienced constipation with their formula fed LO? Mine is 4 weeks old and formula fed and the last few days heās really struggling to pass any stools, and is straining and crying when he tries. Today he hasnāt gone at all. Iāve tried infacol which hasnāt helped. Any tips or advice would be really helpful, itās horrible seeing him in pain.

Hi all, I have a 5 month and 3 week old! Planning to start weaning food next week however just need some advice with a couple things if anyone is able to help!
With food what is the recommendation with milk? Do we keep it the same for now?
How often do we feed her food? They say at the start itās just trying food but when do you start giving them actual meals? And how do I know how to remove milk feeds? Or reduce?
Also formula help!! Baby is on kendamill, she takes approximately 210ml / 7oz 5 times a day.. is anyone in a similar position and how does this work in terms of upping milk or reducing feeds but higher intake? Her current plan is/
8:30 am first feed 7oz
12:30 second feed 7oz
4:30 third feed 7oz
8/8:30 fourth feed 7oz
11:30/12 fifth feed 7oz
Any advice would be AMAZING x
