have no idea why

if it's the lobe it could be new territory, comfort, sensory

if you notice her more whiney, fussy, redness or swelling - doctor to be certain it's not infection

My son does this all the time I've taken in multiple times to make sure it's not an ear infection they sometimes do it when teething otherwise he just likes the comfort of it

My daughter does this when she’s teething

My kids do it when they are tired
I’ve read there is a point to calm there 🤔

My little boy pulls at his ear when hes tired or teething

It’s probably just a self soothing technique. If she hasn’t seemed extra fussy lately or running a temperature I wouldn’t worry too much

If she's fussing or having trouble sleeping or with breast/ bottle feeding etc too it could be a sign of an ear infection

Could be any number of things- ear infection, teething, self soothing. If she's otherwise acting fine/no temperature and not more fussy than normal it's probably fine. If anything else is concerning a pediatrician visit is never a bad thing

Usually to relieve some kind of pressure- sinuses etc…

Baby doesn’t cry if I leave

Hi so this may seem a bit weird but my baby doesn’t get upset if I leave him with someone else. He doesn’t cry or anything. He seems happy when he sees me again though but I was just wondering as I was reading a post that said that babies like that could be unattached? If that is even a thing. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Also do I sound weird 😣

Cough at night..

Has anyone’s little one got a cough that only affects them at night? This started after my LO had a cold and temp but we are now on week 3 with no other symptoms but a cough that only affects her at night. She’s had 2 lots of croup medication and it hasn’t worked so they don’t think it’s that. I’ve taken her to the doctors 3 times and mentioned I’m worried about asthma but they just keep saying it will go. My LO is such a good sleeper and I feel so guilty she’s not getting good quality sleep and I don’t know how else to help her. We have tried her on a tilt, used vapour rub, she has a diffuser in her room, nasal spray, olbas patches. She is 2.5 years. Has anyone else had this or found something to help?

Room temperature

Is anyone else still struggling with high temperature rooms ?
We live in the south coast and our bedroom groegg thermometer is reading 24-25 degrees however it doesn’t necessarily feel that warm ?
My 7 month old is in a baby grow and 0.5 tog sleep bag as he feels cold to touch without the sleep bag but I’m still worried ??

Moses Basket

Has anyone else had issues with the bedding (mattress protector & sheet) for the palm Moses basket from Clair de Lune…. finding it’s a really bad fit and making the mattress bunch up and become lumpy.

You can see in the pictures how much it bunches up once bedding is added (pics in comments).

Has anyone used any other brands of bedding with the basket and find they work better?

Really happy with the actual basket, just struggling with bedding.

Thanks ☺️
