Constipation help! 7-month-old struggling after starting solids 😭

Hi mums! My baby is almost 7 months old and we started solids at 6 months. She hasn't had a proper poo in 5 days, just one small, very hard stool yesterday.
I called the GP and they just said to do exercises and keep her hydrated. We’ve been doing bicycle legs and tummy massages, and I’ve even gone back to exclusively breastfeeding for the last two days. I’ve also tried prune and pear purees for the last two days but still nothing.
Has anyone else gone through this right after starting solids? Any tips to help her pass it? She seems so uncomfortable!

Pear porridge was the best for getting my little one's bowels going. The oats also help so it's like a double help!

Another position to try, sit with your knees bent (but like a zig zag?) and then rest your little one on their front on your thighs so their head is resting by your knees. Then do strokes going down their back. It should help get things moving again. My little one was a 4 day pooer so we were regularly doing every exercise under the sun!

Tin of Del Monte Prunes! That's my first go to when my little boy is struggling or hasn't been able to go. They work wonders for him 🤭

Also lots of leg to tummy exercises. I find they help release gas and also seem to help get things "moving"

How to grieve

Yesterday was the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my life. I had to put down my sweet Babygirl. She was 14 and was diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago. We tried steriods but that didn't help. She declined fast and yesterday she kept peeing on herself while sleeping. She wasn't able to stand and was very weak. I feel so guilty. I feel as if I should have done more for her. Fight for her to live longer. I dont know if I did the right thing. I dont know if she knew it was her time. Im so heartbroken and shattered.

Baby finally sleeping through but it’s now effecting my marriage

Controversial one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I miss daughter waking up in the night. She’s always been a 6:30-7:30pm to bed kinda baby. But she’d wake up twice a night.
However all of a sudden she’s started sleeping through but the catch is she goes to sleep after 9pm. By the time we’ve put her to bed and go ourselves sorted there isn’t much of an evening left to spend with my husband.
We used to cook together and watch films or box sets and chat. It’s done wonder for keeping our love life going as we’ve navigated becoming parents. But now we almost don’t have any down time together.
We get up around 6:15am for our jobs so it’s not realistic for us to be staying up much later.

Has anyone else experienced similar?

Is this a phase or am I majorly failing motherhood?!😩

My little girl will be 15 months on the 10th, the past week or so she has been constantly clingy more than normal! She’s also having complete meltdowns whenever she is told no and when she can’t do what she wants to do it results in her crying and throwing herself backwards! I honestly thought this age would be easier but boy was I wrong😂 She’s always been such a happy baby but just lately it feels like she’s constantly aggy and I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel😩 I think a lot of it is also frustration because she’s really trying to talk and when it comes to meals she’s wanting to feed herself and not have any help at all so I don’t know if it’s another developmental leap or what but please tell me I’m not alone and it does get better? Mum guilt is so real at the moment as she acts like that but then is really loving and sweet which makes me feel awful for feeling in the trenches and like I’m just wishing this time away for it to get better again!😔

How to stop breastfeeding without feeling guilty

I have milk, my baby nurses fine, but I have had enough and I am happy about feeding with formula and baby is happy to drink from a bottle too, but I cannot help with feeling guilty and the internal voice keeps telling me to keep going for a little longer. Any advice?
