Is anyone else’s baby teething yet? My son randomly got inflamed gums & is distraught. It seems pretty early for teething so I’m not really sure what to do to help him feel better. Any advice? Anyone else in the teething throes?

Yup our guy has teeth already

How old is he?

Mine started teething right after turning 3 months old! Since his mouth is too small for those water filled teethers, I put my son’s pacifiers in the fridge. If your son takes formula, try giving it cold. That’s also what we do which helps him.

My baby will also turn four months on 14th. I am facing the same issue. He cries all day and night. Giving him silicon teethers is helping a bit. You can also apply gum gels ( i didnt try this yet).

Hey! My baby also started teething early! We’ve gotten more sleep and less melt downs using infant Tylenol dye free. He’s not happy to take it but he feels so much better 30 minutes later. This is just what’s worked best for us! We try to only do homeopathic approaches but this was something that called for stronger relief

Hi mama! I feel you!! My baby just turned 4 months today and has been showing signs of teething since 3m old 😅 that mixed with a sleep regression that also started a month early and vaccines today, whew I sure have my work cut of for me 🥲 try the Camilla teething drops both regular and night ones. If absolutely necessary and you feel like
Your baby is hot and just really upset and not like then selves, try age appropriate baby acetaminophen like calpol or Tylenol.

Yes, since 3 months 🫣 she just turned 4m today!

My 3 month old already has her bottom 2 teeth

Mines about 4 months and his teeth are starting to show as well
If you work in childcare - a teacher / nursery practitioner. What Christmas gift you genuinely want?
I don’t want to buy my sons nursery baby staff a box of chocolate

What is everyone’s opinion on this?
For the record, I work 7.30-4.30 Monday to Thursday and my 11 month old goes to nursery 2 days a week on the 30 free childcare hours.
I’ve been thinking of asking my nursery if I can put my baby in on a Friday, even if it’s just for half a day. I’m so shattered and the house is a tip. She’s never been the happiest baby either from birth and I feel like I’m running on so little fumes now, it would be nice to have a couple of hours to myself to sort the house/ batch cook dinners etc but I feel like doing this massive awful thing by doing this. She’s just never happy and cries majority of the day and I think I just need a little break every now and again to keep my sanity…

So I have older children (15,10) I now have a 5 month old, I decided to wean at 4 months. But now the guidelines are strictly 6 months….Anyone eles started at 4 months? I did tiny spoons of baby 4+ porridge in the morning (3 max) soon as she turned 4 months. Now at 5 months she wants food! She loves food! I’m still only doing 5 maybe tiny spoons of say baby porridge in the morning, and blended veg in the eve while we have our tea. She still has 4/5 bottles during the day and her bedtime bottle.
In the next few weeks up to 6 months I plan to do blw where she helps herself to soft solids.
Please no judgement just interested to know if there’s many other people who weaned (a little!) from 4 months? 🙂

I never planned on having my daughter watch screens this early, but we wanted her to sleep with loud sounds right away so she's used to it and wouldn't wake up from small things and it definitely worked. She is just like my fiancé it makes me laugh sometimes. The way she sleeps and eats is just like him too. She’ll sit in her bouncer or swing and watch SpongeBob for hours now. It's her favorite show and I can’t get over it. she even laughs and reacts to it, it's so funny. It calms her down when she’s fussy sometimes, and she really loves the music. I can't wait until she's older so i can show her what my favorite shows were growing up, like strawberry shortcake🍓 or the barbie movies 💗
Do any of your little ones have a show they're interested in yet? Or specific music they like?

My LO started weaning on purées at about 4.5months (under doctor advice as he was a hungry boy and had reflux), we’re now introducing BLW as he’s 6 months old but I’m just wondering how many meals I should be offering him a day? With purées, he started on once a day but now has them 2-3 times a day along with his usual milk intake. Is this too much? He’s not sick and has always been a generally hungry baby but there’s so much conflicting information and I don’t want to be overfeeding him either as I have a feeling he’s going to be a greedy boy! 🤣
