Mine tends to always fall asleep straight after so I can’t and I don’t keep her upright for very long as I’m so tired I’m worried I’ll fall asleep. Would love to know if you all do.

How old is your LO? We used to with ours as she would wake herself up struggling with trapped wind but as she’s gotten a bit older (now 17 weeks) sometimes she can be so difficult to burp so I place her down and she seems to be okay. I always try - the method I find the best not to wake her is where she is sat upright on my knee with chin supported and really slow circle motions (really important back is straight) and a couple do usually come up without waking her. ☺️ if your baby seems fine without burping and isn’t being up their feed then I would just say you’re fine doing what you’re doing!

Yea but he is a windy baby. Sometimes he stays asleep whilst I wind him and he still burps. I didn’t wind my daughter after night feeds as she didn’t get much wind. She also never leaked any milk whilst feeding or brought anything back up. Just different babies.

No. We used to but now only burb her if she's going to be up and about moving around because otherwise she sicks up a little. I feed led down at night now so don't want to wake her up, we just scoop her up and lay her back down in her cot

I sit her upright on me for about ten mins but she defo burps more in day then the night but she’s more active like on off and stuff during the day so I think takes in more air whereas she’s pretty much feeding asleep at night
I have a 10 week old baby who will only sleep when held day or night. It’s ruining my mental health.
I spend hours every day trapped under him in silence with white noise that gives me a headache because I’m so sleep deprived. I feel stiff and sore. I feel lonely, bored and frustrated. Every attempt at transfer just fails. I have tried every trick in the book short of buying a snoo. He absolutely hates the carrier. I feel like a terrible mother because I’m supposed to be enjoying the snuggles. But they feel forced. I’m trapped until he wakes up for a feed and change. Only then I have literally 5 minutes to quickly go toilet or eat something- do a small chore. I have no one who can help and take the pressure off me. Friends are too busy 😢 There is no village so there is nobody to help. Family live far and are dysfunctional af so I can’t even go to them😭😭 We co-sleep, which I hate. I feel terrified I’m going to wake up and find him passed out. I thought I’d break the cycle and never make my son feel like he was difficult to love. But 10 weeks in, I’ve already failed. He’s not choosing to give me a hard time. He’s a baby who doesn’t know how to sleep alone and needs my help, and I’m struggling to meet this need. He has reflux and possibly colic too now which is making me even more sad for him and depressed. I’m not looking for practical advice on how to get him sleeping on his own. Trust me, I have tried every practical advice i have found online so far. I’m looking to vent and for similar stories or for advice on how to cope with the isolation of this mentally, or any words of comfort.
Please I’m desperate.
There seems to be no end in sight.
I don’t know how to carry on like this.

First time mama to a 1 month old perfect boy!🩵
For the first 3 weeks of his life doctors ignored me about his symtoms and suspected CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) because im a "first time worried mum" It took for him to start pooping blood for them to listen!
5/6 days into him having his allergy milk, 8/10 of his symptoms have cleared up& i have a happier more content baby!🤍

Has anyone experienced constipation with their formula fed LO? Mine is 4 weeks old and formula fed and the last few days he’s really struggling to pass any stools, and is straining and crying when he tries. Today he hasn’t gone at all. I’ve tried infacol which hasn’t helped. Any tips or advice would be really helpful, it’s horrible seeing him in pain.

Hi mamas! My LO is 12 weeks old - How much time should we be leaving between the last nap of the day and bedtime?

My girl was in size 4s (Sainsbury’s) but they weren’t holding anywhere near enough - but we’re still having loads of poo explosions with the size 5s (Tescos). What trick am I missing here?! 😅💩😭😱
