Cosleeping with 2?

How are we cosleeping with the whole family? If all of us stay in the same bed/room, my toddler wakes up when the newborn gets up.

My toddler can sleep through the night, so long as he has a body next to him. So, if either my husband or I have to get up to use the restroom or if we decided to stay up and watch a movie in the other room, or in this case, get up to tend to the newborn, my toddler will wake up within 30 minutes of us leaving crying and running out the bedroom looking for us.

Since our baby was born, my husband sleeps in the guest room with our toddler and I cosleep with the newborn in our room. But as you know, some nights are rough and when I have my husband come help me with the baby, our toddler will wake up shortly after. He is definitely becoming a tired mess and the past couple weeks going through a nap regression too.

I must confess...my oldest slept with me and his baby brother till he was 10. THEN. He started sleeping alone. My youngest is now 5 and STILL sleeping with momma. Occasionally he'll go sleep with his brother and give dad a chance to sleep with momma lol

Oof! I wish I had an answer to this!
Right now, I am with baby in one room, and Papa is with toddler in another. When my husband is away, traveling for work-I have toddler in my bed, baby in crib. The baby wakes the toddler 50% of the time and she starts crying because she wants me to stay with her. So, I feed him in the rocker and she is standing at my legs. I have been able to convince her to go back to bed and I will meet her there soon, one time. I can only hope that as this continues, she will learn that I will come back to her.
If baby has an early morning wake - say 5/5:30—that woke her up, toddler will NOT go back to sleep; when she usually sleeps until 7. So, that sucks for everyone because she is cranky and so am I. Haha!
Right now, I fear that I have to keep our little one in a crib because it seems too challenging to have them together when they wake each other.

My son is 2.5 and my daughter is almost 7mo, and we have coslept all together since she was maybe 3weeks old. I feel like they both really need me as I'm the primary parent so it was important for me to find a way to make it work safely for all of us.
MY TIP: we sleep parallel to the headboard! Baby is between me and headboard so she has nowhere to fall (I have a wedge-shaped pillow that fills the small gap at the headboard so she won't get stuck anywhere), then it's my toddler and then my husband across the foot of the bed.
So I have each baby on either side of me :) and I love it!

Baby will only sleep when held - it’s ruining my mental health

I have a 10 week old baby who will only sleep when held day or night. It’s ruining my mental health.
I spend hours every day trapped under him in silence with white noise that gives me a headache because I’m so sleep deprived. I feel stiff and sore. I feel lonely, bored and frustrated. Every attempt at transfer just fails. I have tried every trick in the book short of buying a snoo. He absolutely hates the carrier. I feel like a terrible mother because I’m supposed to be enjoying the snuggles. But they feel forced. I’m trapped until he wakes up for a feed and change. Only then I have literally 5 minutes to quickly go toilet or eat something- do a small chore. I have no one who can help and take the pressure off me. Friends are too busy 😢 There is no village so there is nobody to help. Family live far and are dysfunctional af so I can’t even go to them😭😭 We co-sleep, which I hate. I feel terrified I’m going to wake up and find him passed out. I thought I’d break the cycle and never make my son feel like he was difficult to love. But 10 weeks in, I’ve already failed. He’s not choosing to give me a hard time. He’s a baby who doesn’t know how to sleep alone and needs my help, and I’m struggling to meet this need. He has reflux and possibly colic too now which is making me even more sad for him and depressed. I’m not looking for practical advice on how to get him sleeping on his own. Trust me, I have tried every practical advice i have found online so far. I’m looking to vent and for similar stories or for advice on how to cope with the isolation of this mentally, or any words of comfort.

Please I’m desperate.

There seems to be no end in sight.

I don’t know how to carry on like this.

1 month old!

First time mama to a 1 month old perfect boy!🩵
For the first 3 weeks of his life doctors ignored me about his symtoms and suspected CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) because im a "first time worried mum" It took for him to start pooping blood for them to listen!

5/6 days into him having his allergy milk, 8/10 of his symptoms have cleared up& i have a happier more content baby!🤍

Constipation

Has anyone experienced constipation with their formula fed LO? Mine is 4 weeks old and formula fed and the last few days he’s really struggling to pass any stools, and is straining and crying when he tries. Today he hasn’t gone at all. I’ve tried infacol which hasn’t helped. Any tips or advice would be really helpful, it’s horrible seeing him in pain.

My girl was in size 4s (Sainsbury’s) but they weren’t holding anywhere near enough - but we’re still having loads of poo explosions with the size 5s (Tescos). What trick am I missing here?! 😅💩😭😱
