Nappy dry through night

My little girl is almost 2 months old and the last few nights when she wakes up after a 4-5hr stint her nappy is dry. I am so stressed about it. She is very alert when she wakes up for her food but then when she wakes she only takes a small amount like 60ml help this stressed mama. Once she feeds her nappy is wet, it’s wet halfway round now so it’s like she holds onto it.

What are her nappies like over a 24 hour period? When she does pee is it pale? Is she settled and not fussy, generally well overall?

NHS says, As long as there are at least 6 wet nappies in a 24 hour period you are okay.

However, if you are concerned contact your health advisor. They will be able to advise and put your mind at ease.

I’m not sure how it works where you are. I have to ring the main hub and then they send out a message to my health visitor.

From what you’ve said it’s all reassuring to me. If it was a bladder or urine infection she wouldn’t be going a lot and it would be dark in colour. But again, speak to the health advisor to rest your mind :)

Active sleeper

Has anyone else got experience of this...my 4.5 month old baby is extremely active during his "light sleep" phases. He sleeps like a log for an hour/hour and half or so after putting him down and then he starts to flail about, I'm assuming as he goes into a light sleep phase. He's asleep whilst he doing this (legs and arms flapping about, rubbing his face etc) but if he's left on his own he will wake himself up, so I have to pick him up and rock him until he goes back into a deep sleep again. For ages I thought it was because he was struggling with gas but I don't think it's that anymore. I'm already co-sleeping with him but only getting max 90 mins sleep at a time and I'm pretty exhausted. Haa anyone else had this with their baby? Does it improve once they can roll about and get comfortable? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

What do you really need for breastfeeding?

I’m looking up and getting ads for a million things, and it’s hard to know what women ACTUALLY USE while breastfeeding and what is just useless crap. I’ve heard nipple cream/butter is a great help, but I have no clue. Let me know what you all love and use.

Sleeping is out the window

Baby (10m) used to sleep amazingly but this week has been hell. I’ve just spent the last 2.5 hours trying to get him back to bed. Every night this week has been a battle. He goes down as usual but is waking at 11 and demanding our bed. After about 40 minutes I manage to get him back down but then he’s up again at 1 and that’s the biggest battle of the night. Taking hours to get him back to sleep then awake again around 5/6. I’m getting about 2 hours of sleep at night because I get so frustrated with how tired I am I can’t get back to sleep and end up lying awake, feeling nauseous from exhaustion and I don’t know what to do to get him back to his normal sleep pattern. I can’t function on this little sleep 😭

How on earth do I move past this :/
