I am f***ing exhausted. I’m sat here gritting my teeth in bottled anger and sleep deprivation. I honestly can’t do this anymore. I’m losing my mind during the day as it is, and now the nights?
When I keep trying to leave, she does this horrifying scream that sounds like I’m literally stabbing her repeatedly. It’s so so so awful and piercing. I can’t even leave the room to calm down for 5 because (I don’t mean this as a joke) I’m worried someone will call the police. It’s like it’s passed meltdowns recently, her tantrums sound and look like exorcism.

Can she articulate what makes her scream in such a way? Like is she scared of the dark?
Might be the time to get a doctors recommendation. If you’re not getting good sleep, that’s really bad for your mental health.

As the above post said is there something underlying that is keeping them up?
What’s sleep schedule like - do they need slightly less sleep?

Hmm, I hope it gets better! Do you think something is triggering her sleep?

Has she just gone 3?
What time does she wake for the day, does she still nap and when's bedtime?

First wake: Put her in bed/lay her down. Say “it’s still night time we need to stay calm and go back to sleep. I love you goodnight
If she screams you go back in lay her down “are you screaming because you’re scared. Or sleepy?”
If she’s scared you ask her if she wants you to read a short book.
If she’s still not asleep you do same as the third. Lay her down. Say you love her and leave the room.
Repeat this untill she’s asleep.
My 3yo was on a 7-7:30pm asleep 7am awake.
He had a week ish where he’d wake crying and shouting I did the above and it worked for him

My daughter was the same but she has autism , but she used to take a nap around 5pm everyday for an hour and now she doesn’t take a nap because if she does she will be awake all night and do the same , if she takes a nap needs to be around 1/2 pm but she just doesn’t want to

At 3 they develops quite a lot of fears so she might need a lot of reinsurance. If cosleeping is an option I would just do that. In our house we always protected our sleep and emotional comfort at night. If she is scared of something it's more than normal to not want to be alone (can you imagine being in a place where you are so scared and being left alone ?). Cosleeping would give her a safe place being comforted and you would just sleep and feel better.
My gorg girl is finally here due sept 29th born on the 7th sept 01:59 weighing a gorg 3870g, i went into spontaneous labour on tuesday morning woke up with the worst contractions which throughout the day got worse got to the hospital was 6cm dilated, made it to 9cm unmedicated before baby girl decided to go back to back in the last 1cm!! Bare in mind she was in the same position since 26weeks ahaha they knew her shoulder was going to get stuck and she was born with shoulder dystocia but no broken bones or sprains! So i had to get the epidural- anyone pregnant with a back to back baby the back contractions were the worst pain i ever felt in my life… anyways, forceps later and a small episiotomy as well - which literally after a day its healing really well down there and her tiny forceps scars are healing well as well. We are both so well and the hospital did an amazing job, another reason for epidural was they had to get her out quick as her heart rate was dropping so i had to push like asap they gave me 5 mins before the red button was pressed and a bunch of doctors ran in ahah, so far from my birth plan as i wanted to do 100% unmediated and in a water pool but at least i didn’t end up in c section and managed to push baby girl out! One of the hardest things ive ever done in my life but she is perf ❤️

Help - my 4 week old has hit an episode every night now without fail that she is waking up every hour/2 for a feed which I think is ok for this age? But she is such a struggle to get back down to sleep and just makes constant squeals moans for about an extra hour before she is in proper sleep - would a dummy help her settle ? Can we introduce only at night?!

My baby is on cow and gate and has been for the last 2 weeks. I introduced breast alongside but she is refusing to latch because of the confusion and is getting frustrated when I’m trying to feed. However I’ve now stopped (for my mental state) she’s now showing signs of being very uncomfortable and straining and isn’t pooing until over 48 hours. We have been to the doctors and they have said because she is showing signs of uncomfortableness and straining to switch formulas. However they said not to use cow and gate comfort as it sits in the stomach longer.
Does anyone have any recommendations for formula that will help her bowels?

Hey ladies!
I am a woman on the edge. My baby has not had a single poo in the last 3 days that hasn’t escaped out of her nappy somehow. We’re using pampers which are supposed to be poonami proof! Is my baby just an aggressive pooper?!
Thoughts, prayers and advice needed please ❤️

My son is 4 months old and has always been a good sleeper. Recently he has become a really really light sleeper, through the day he is contact napping 3 times for around 45-60mins unless we are in the car. He sleeps that lightly that if I even attempt to put him into his crib he wakes up. On a night, I have no issue putting him to bed, I settle him down after a bottle and he goes straight into a deep sleep. He wakes up at about 3am for a bottle, he usually falls back asleep on the bottle but over the last few weeks he’s gone into a deep sleep until I put him back in his crib. He flings himself about and then cries, something he has never done. Does anyone have any tips for transferring him? I’ve tried self settling, he’s in a love to dream swaddle too. He has a dummy to fall asleep but then he just spits it out 🙃🙃
