Outings with baby

I would love to do my outings with my baby, however every time I take him out I end up having to take him out the pram and walk with him in my arms lol. It therefore puts me off wanting to go out as much because he cries in the pushchair.

Maybe I should take him out more to get used to it? Any other advice on how I can get him to just chill in the pushchair lol.

How old is he? Have you tried a carrier?

Avatar

We have the same, end up carrying every time.
We have a carrier but at 10 weeks I don't want to constantly carry whilst I'm still rebuilding a core 😅

I always take the carrier out with the pram so I can go between. & if he ends up in the carrier the pram makes a lovely shopping basket! Some babies just hate the pram - my first never liked it and my second will happily chill most of the time. Same pram, same parenting, different baby!

I used to just use a carrier x

Mine hates the bassinet🫠 stays awake the whole time then gets overtired kicks off for the rest of the day when we go out in it, he loves the car seat atrachment but can't have him in it for long so means all trips out are short, he also screams in the carrier😪

So upset.

I went to my midwife appointment this morning for a sweep.
Baby has been ready this whole pregnancy. I am 39+3.

I had a scan 8 days ago, she was growing lovely and engaged.

They couldn't do the sweep because baby has decided to completely turn and go breech right at the last minute 😞

Now I have to sit and wait all weekend until I hear from the hospital with a plan.

Stats show the most likely option is now a c section due to the timing.

I am absolutely gutted this has happened 😞

Tightenings on Monitor

I’ve just been on monitor at assessment unit and they’ve asked if I’m having any tightenings and I said I could feel them but nothing major. Midwife said they are measuring higher than braxton hicks, has anyone else had this and it progressed?

Thanks!

Sex after c section…

I’m 3 weeks PP and feel good to go, like I’ve got an itch that needs scratching and I know my partner does too 😅
In the UK we’re advised to wait 6 weeks and he’s super considerate and wants to wait the full 6 weeks to ensure that I’m okay, has anyone else gone for it sooner than 6 weeks after a c section?

16 week scan - wrong gender

Did not expect the news today that I’m Infact having a little girl. Everyone says the cord is rare but it clearly isn’t. I’m total shock!

Need to exchange clothes. 🙈 hopefully it’s the same gender at our 20 weeks scan. Haha.

Pregnant with autoimmune disease

Hi I’m very early pregnant with my first! 5 weeks! I have suchhhh mixed emotions I hope that’s normal.
I also suffer with inflammatory bowel disease ( ulcerative colitis) wondering if anyone else pregnant with similar condition or an autoimmune disease and how it’s affecting it all?
