Never had a an experience of 4D. Had a scan at 17 weeks today they gave us a sneak peek. A friend I showed it to has said it looks like the baby has a cleft lip. Is it a shadow? I’m now worried. Would this be something that shows on a 20 week scan? First baby. Unsure what to do or think. 🥺😢

Someone you showed it to? So not a medical professional?
I wouldn't worry. It is part of the anatomy scan anyway

It would be something that shows on 20 week scan they go through the whole anatomy, I wouldn’t worry till you get too the scan.

Not particularly helpful of the friend to say that 🫠🫠 i wouldn’t think much into it if it wasn’t from a medical professional and the person performing the scan
No it’s certainly not helpful. I can’t unsee it now. 😢

Try not to worry 3d scans have imperfections all over them it will be looked at on the anatomy scan and if the person who done ur scan was concerned they would have let you know x
I went to my midwife appointment this morning for a sweep.
Baby has been ready this whole pregnancy. I am 39+3.
I had a scan 8 days ago, she was growing lovely and engaged.
They couldn't do the sweep because baby has decided to completely turn and go breech right at the last minute 😞
Now I have to sit and wait all weekend until I hear from the hospital with a plan.
Stats show the most likely option is now a c section due to the timing.
I am absolutely gutted this has happened 😞

I’ve just been on monitor at assessment unit and they’ve asked if I’m having any tightenings and I said I could feel them but nothing major. Midwife said they are measuring higher than braxton hicks, has anyone else had this and it progressed?
Thanks!

I’m 3 weeks PP and feel good to go, like I’ve got an itch that needs scratching and I know my partner does too 😅
In the UK we’re advised to wait 6 weeks and he’s super considerate and wants to wait the full 6 weeks to ensure that I’m okay, has anyone else gone for it sooner than 6 weeks after a c section?

I would love to do my outings with my baby, however every time I take him out I end up having to take him out the pram and walk with him in my arms lol. It therefore puts me off wanting to go out as much because he cries in the pushchair.
Maybe I should take him out more to get used to it? Any other advice on how I can get him to just chill in the pushchair lol.

Did not expect the news today that I’m Infact having a little girl. Everyone says the cord is rare but it clearly isn’t. I’m total shock!
Need to exchange clothes. 🙈 hopefully it’s the same gender at our 20 weeks scan. Haha.

Hi I’m very early pregnant with my first! 5 weeks! I have suchhhh mixed emotions I hope that’s normal.
I also suffer with inflammatory bowel disease ( ulcerative colitis) wondering if anyone else pregnant with similar condition or an autoimmune disease and how it’s affecting it all?
