I have been putting her down to sleep every night breastfeeding her. I feel so tired and exhausted. It takes me 1.5h at least for her to sleep and stll as soon as I leave she wakes up. She doesnt like a dummy. My nipples become sore after such a long time. If I rock her for sleep she will scream and scream until I see tears and I give up. How do I break this sleep association? Any idea?

This so very normal. They dont know they're different from you yet, its so so normal. She needs to be close to you. Try different teet types for a dodie x

I still have this and my little girl is nearly one. Im so touched out by it. She will however accept being rocked to sleep but feeding her back to sleep through the night is just easier. How old is your little one?

My boy was the same. Refused dummy for 5 months. Until one night we was on my nips ALL NIGHT. So painful.. i went to get a dummy the next morning.. and he took it !!! Since then he sleeps so much better and so am i. Maybe try again the dummy

During the day, I put her to sleep after exercise/activity, not after feeding. At night, she would get expressed milk on the bottle after her bath. I would alternate with dad putting her down to sleep.
She sleeps 12h at night uninterrupted since 3months old (dad slept trained her, which is not for everyone, but works wonders for my mental health and rest and for her too tbh, she is like a clock! And sleeps lots). She was breastfed until 7months old.
Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.
My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.
The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.
It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.
How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

My LO is 9 weeks, since last week he suddenly only wants me. He used to take a bottle ebm from my husband and be soothed by my dad/brother — now he refuses both and only calms when I hold him. Contact naps only, cries when put down.
Don’t get me wrong , i love him so much but sometimes need to step away 🥲😥 my back is killing me from holding him all day and sometimes I just need to function.— and right now I can't, because he won't settle for anyone else. My husband used to offer one bottle of ebm per day so that i can get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep but now that’s also impossible
Is this a phase? Will appreciate any tips

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

I feel absolutely insane but I'm nervous to take my almost 4 month old out shopping with me lol. I was hoping he'd be able to sit in the cart so I don't have to bring in the car seat. Should I just put him in a baby wearing carrier? Why do I feel like I'm making a bigger deal out of this than it should be 😂

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for maternity bras for big boobs. Not necessarily needing breastfeeding friendly, but something comfortable and soft with support.
I am 9 weeks pregnant and my boobs already are spilling out of my current bras and they are soooo heavy and sore.
I'm a 36G normally but will need to go up 🙃 (genuinely thought they couldn't get any bigger 😂😂)
