I had positive preterm labour tests at 28 and 31 weeks pregnant this time and at 25 and 29 weeks last time. Every time my cervix stayed closed and it just fizzled out after a few days. I carried to full term last pregnancy and I'm nearly 38+4 this time. I was told that if the test is negative then it's very accurate but if it's positive then it is only 30-40% accurate and that in that case they would look at your cervix to get a better idea whether anything is happening or not. At nearly 36 weeks I wouldn't worry too much as you are nearly full term

I had a positive test at 31 weeks then a negative at 33 weeks. Same as you my cervix stayed closed. They're often inaccurate and as long as your cervix is closed that's the most accurate measure. 35 weeks and going strong x

I had a positive test at 32 weeks and I'm now 36+3 and she's still in there 🤞🤞

I had a 14 hour bout of regular uncomfortable contractions the first time which is why I went in, and since then I've had 4 'episodes' of those really regular contractions for hours at a time. Thankfully they've always fizzled out so I haven't been back, for me it was really about waiting to see if they got more intense over time which they never have. Had no other symptoms (no bloody show, water leaking etc.) and when they checked my cervix it was fully closed, which they said was very reassuring. I felt so unnerved as never had this with my first, but apparently it's not actually that uncommon, just the uterus being overly sensitive! Hopefully will be the same for you, and we're so close to 37 weeks now, they just need to stay out that little bit longer! X
