Hey, has anyone got pictures of their rooms from LGI labour ward?
I'm making my birthing plan and wondering if I'll sound silly when giving my preferences for environment. For example, I've asked for a dim room with sensory lights if possible. But if its your typical white basic room I won't bother coming across as a primadonna 😅

I think they do have some suites they can offer if needed but I was emergency so I just got a basic white room for me. It was in my maternity notes I think so check there I'd say or their website, The Lotus Unit https://www.leedsth.nhs.uk/services/maternity/birth/hospital-birth/

My rooms were different both times. First time it was dim lighting as I gave birth early hours. The midwives are lovely there so they'll do anything to make you comfortable x

You could take your own lights in, just make sure they’re battery x
I miscarried in august around the 23rd. I tested negative about 3 weeks after. Now it’s October 11th and i just took a test today. i had my period from september 20th to the 26th. idek if it’s possible…

Can anyone please help me advise what to buy for my hospital bag when it comes to maternity pads/knickers? I am very stuck! Not sure obviously whether this will end in vaginal birth or c section, but any recommendations would be very handy!

I had my first scan and baby is looking very healthy so far! (Measuring around 9 weeks) I do have some health problems and considered high risk so it was a big relief to know that so far everything is going okay
