Baby has been engaged at every scan from 28 weeks, last one at 36 weeks and was 3/5 engaged!
Last night I fet baby move and im sure theyve turned breach, whole bottom of my stomach feels empty, kicks feel like they're in my lower tummy and rock hard under my ribs.
I have another growth scan tomorrow and was scheduled for a sweep straight after but I dont think that will go ahead now.
Can baby be turned this far along still?
Absolutely petrified of the thought of a cesarean, (i actually passed out at them just describing one when I went to labour classes with my first born)

They can turn in very rare cases but that sounds normal to me ☺️ The bottom of my stomach feels completely empty, really hard at the top. You will feel kicks and movement in different places at this stage. I hope they’re the right way round for you 🩵

Not quite the reply to your question but my baby is head down and over the last few weeks I have felt so many of his movements in my lower tummy area which was new for me. At my last growth scan it turned out his feet were literally right next to his face 😂 so even though he's head down, his feet were also low down which was why so many of my kicks are now there! Hoping he's still head down for you and just in a funky position!

Yes. My baby was head down and turn at week 38 to be breech. Sadly we couldn't move her back. Also we discovered she had her chord around her neck. I wanted to have a vaginal birth as I did with my first and I was ready to go even breech but being breech + chord issues was too much to risk it. She was born this weekend by c section... It was not what I wanted but it was the safest way. Also the team accompanying me was the same and they proceed to a very humanized c section which was very respectful of my needs and anxiety and also of my request for baby (delayed clamps, bf immediately and skin to skin,... We did all of these even if it wasn't as comfortable due to being in a surgery theater... But still it was nice to have it). I'm now recovering and it's painful but I m walking on my own, even if I'm mainly resting. It wasn't my first plan but it was always an option if needed anyway so I went for it. Hope your baby is still head down. Also if there's no other issue, having a breech vaginal birth is possibl
So I am 16 weeks and 5 days now and I want to try to prepare myself for what's to come. I have had mixed reactions to the idea of watching child birth docs/TV shows such as one born every minute. What do people think? I have never seen the show before myself, Will this be helpful or am I going to scare myself? 😂😂

I’ve got a small fibroid but even though it’s small the consultant still recommended I don’t home birth. The home birth team don’t seam concerned and are still happy for me to go ahead…. it’s higher risk of haemorrhaging but after doing research I can actively manage this by getting the placenta out straight away… I’m not worried, if I have to go to hospital so be it ,but I’d rather try to continue with a home birth as planned. Anyone else have any experience with this?
