What did your doctor say?

I know RSV in babies this little can be pretty dangerous. Use a humidifier to help ease any congestion and definitely monitor breathing. Use a nose sucker to help with congestion and you can get baby Vicks Vapor rub for her chest. Mommys Bliss is a good brand for cough syrup too, it’s what I use for my boy.

My son had it but he was four so it was more manageable. He rested and drank lots of fluids. He was prescribed something but I can’t recall what it was. I’m so sorry.

My 4 month old baby just got over RSV and pediatrician said the same thing. I gave her Tylenol and baths for the fever she made it through like a champ, only had 3 fevers over the 5 days and just has a little cough but not bad. I was up all night worried the first couple nights with her because of the fever.

I know mama, it is very scary. But hopefully she will get through it quickly and come out with a stronger immune system ❤️

Mine had a terrible cold and the congestion was sooo bad. We soaked in baths and I would hangout with her in the bathroom with the shower blasting on hot for the steam to soften all the gunk and use a nose sucker to pull the gunk out. She lived on me for 3 weeks straight contact naps, baths and lots of steam plus tylonal (as prescribed by her doctor) when she seemed extra uncomfortable.

If you’re breastfeeding don’t forget to give her extra kisses so your body can make the antibodies to her germs 😘

Traveling by car

FTM to a one month old and we want to travel to visit family so they can meet the baby. The drive is only 4 hours away but online keeps saying to take breaks etc because its dangerous to have the baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. Anyone been thru something similar? And what did you do?

Tips for selling baby and maternity items?

I have lots of baby items (next to me, baby prep machine, monitor- all never used) to sell – what’s the best way to go about it? Any favourite platforms, tips for quick sales, or things I should avoid? Would love to hear your experiences!

Struggling

Hi everyone I’m really struggling at the moment. My baby ( 4 and a half months) is just so unhappy so fussy crying all the time. I spend my whole day trying to keep her calm or trying to calm her because she’s having a complete meltdown. She is definitely currently teething which I think is causing a lot of the issues I’m trying Calpol. I’m also trying teething gel and teething toys which I’ve put in the fridge but none of them seem to have much of an effect. I just need a bit of reassurance, a bit of positive thinking any other Mum’s out there having the same experience? I feel so alone in it but I’m sure I’m not and I just keep crying because my happy baby has become so miserable. I always start the day positively but by her 8th or 9th screaming meltdown I literally can’t cope and feel like I need to tap out ! I feel so frustrated and overstimulated plus annoyed that I can’t do much to help her ….i do have some support from parents who live locally and husband in the evenings but it’s still really really hard

Sleep question

For those whose babies are “sleeping through” or has a good 4/5 stretch of sleep through the night, does you baby have a dummy?
