After BP checks came back higher than normal, I was sent to maternity triage for further checks. My bloods came back fine except ALT which was at 35. Normal range is 0-34.
Has anyone had experience of this and what does it mean?
I have two further BP appointments booked for Saturday and next Monday. I’ll be 29 weeks tomorrow.

I had the same at my 28 week appointment, felt quite unwell with dizziness etc and my blood pressure increased then went back to normal. My ALT was slightly raised so they did some more in depth blood tests and then retested a week later. Everything seems to be fine, they said the raised ALT could have just been due to my body fighting off a viral infection. They're just more cautious with increased blood pressure and liver function in pregnancy, if you're worried or experiencing any other symptoms it's aways worth contacting maternity triage again so that they can explain what they're monitoring and why

My alt was 41 , 61 and then 64 on 10. 20 and 27 August, everything else was kind of normal (besides maybe a uti but I didn’t have symptoms) - my bile was normal and my blood pressure was actually low ish (but borderline okay) rather than high;
They wasn’t sure what it was so I got referred for a liver ultrasound end of September, the week before I had a blood test and my alt went back to 28; and liver ultrasound was fine so it kind of just resolved by itself?

Any mamas here who have very little help from their village and have one or more children? How do you cope?
My family lives abroad and they are so willing to help, but unfortunately due to the distance and time apart, they can't help us much and can only do so when they visit us or if we go and visit them. My in laws live about 40 mins drive but even when we meet, they don't really help and it's more like social visits. I wished it was swapped around that my parents were the ones who were closer to us so they could help us time and time again. We thought of having a second one before, but I really don't know how we can cope given the very limited support we have currently.

Is anyone planning to do a frozen embryo transfer in February.
We’ve just got our consultant appointment through for November then hopefully we’ll be starting treatment on my January cycle.
Looking for people in the same boat that I can talk to as we are keeping it a secret from family.
Thank you

I have ALL the pregnancy symptoms and my period is now late
Just wondering had anyone ever got a positive after 11DPO or even 12? No idea what’s going on, maybe I’m gonna have a bad heavy period instead? 😫

So I’m tracking my line progression as I found out on the 8th I’m pregnant. I’m around 5 weeks at this point.
I’ve been taking 2 kids of test to track like progression.
This was from last night as I wanted to see how dark a line was in an evening.
Then the strips, the middle one was yesterday morning and the bottom was was this morning - however, I feel like on my other tests to track, my test is lighter this morning, than it was 48 hours ago….. and lighter than the one I took last night.
Should I be worried?
