At what age did you ladies go back to work after having your babies? ❤️
My little boy is 8 months old (almost 9), and I’ve recently been offered a really great opportunity to work for a company my friend works for. It’s an opportunity I’m genuinely excited about, but I’m also feeling quite emotional at the thought of leaving my little boy.
I honestly hadn’t really thought about going back to work just yet, as my partner has never once pressured me to find a job or even mentioned me needing to go back. I’ve been really lucky in that sense and have been able to enjoy this time with my baby without that pressure.
Now that an opportunity has come up, it’s made me realise that I might actually have to think about it, and I don’t know if I’m quite ready emotionally! 🥹
I know every mum is different, but I’d love to hear your experiences. How old were your little ones when you went back to work, and how did you find it? Did you feel ready, or did you struggle with the thought of leaving them? 💗

12 months the first time and will return at 12 months again. Ahead of returning I was so sad and anxious but once I was back I actually thrived more as a mum because I had a bit of me back too!
This time I’m not sad about the prospect of returning because I know you find a new rhythm and it’s nice to see your LO grow and develop at nursery too x

My little girl was 10 months, and she started nursery. I thought I did the wrong thing leaving her so young but it's the best decision she has come on so much and it's only been 7 weeks. I have reduced my hours to work around her. I did find it tough at first but she's got a lovely relationship with the nursery nurse it makes it so much easier.
Hope this helps and you figure something that works for you both ❤️

8 months for my som x

10 months

I went back when my son was 9 months as I didn't want to take the unpaid mat leave and he settled so quickly as I think he was too young to fully comprehend the difference. I found that worked really well as it basically just became his new normal really quickly. He did feel little but seemed to get so much out of it from being around other kids his age. He's 3 now and still enjoys going.

For me I never went back, I was in the military prior. It’s been 9 years and I loved/ love staying at home with my boys with our 3rd on the way! That’s not to say it doesn’t have its hard moments but I am grateful to be involved in my boys school now and volunteer, while never having missed a moment with them and now I’m looking for ward to being home with the new baby come January! I commend my working mamas out there, my husband never pressured me to work either we are blessed financially so I’m forever grateful. For me personally, I’ll never regret not going back to work when they’re little I won’t get the time back with them and they’ll never be this little again🥹❤️

A little bit opposite to previous comments but unfortunately I had to go back to work when my daughter was only 4 months old due to money but I think no matter their age it will always be hard that first day back was hell for me I hated it but it got easier 💕

She was 9 months when i returned, it was a great age as nursery helped her development incredibly.
It was nice to go back to civilisation as well.
I do struggle working full time, now she's older but everyone is anxious and a little bit emotional but a happy mama is a happy baby
Dont miss out on an opportunity that you're excited about if thats what you want, go for it

My twins were 7 months but they’re being looked after by grandparents and my husband works from home so that helped

Has anyone left a relationship with a baby? I’m struggling and I feel it’s the best thing going forward. It’s toxic. I feel alone.

So, I downloaded this app hoping it would help me expand my social circle and feel more comfortable meeting moms and discussing mom-related topics and just having fun conversations. However, the more chats I engage in, the more disconnected I feel. I honestly don’t believe I can genuinely connect with people online, I’ve never been a social media type of person and sometimes it just feels forced. Also, I don’t think people take into consideration we’re all moms navigating our own personal lives, which may not align with the availability of others at the times they want to chat. So instead of negativity thinking someone’s ignoring you, consider the fact that they may actually be handling things and will communicate when they’re able to. And the group chats are a great social experiment but it’s no connection it’s no way to actually get to know people unless there are smaller made chats no more that 5 ppl …. Idk. What should I do 🤦🏽♀️🙇🏽♀️

I want to get my partner a small gift for becoming a dad - I'm almost certain he's going to get me a 'push present'!
Any ideas of something unique I could get him?!
Ideally something that marks the moment rather than any old gift that I could get him for bday/xmas instead.

I just turn 40 last month. I noticed my period taking longer then normal to start. This month in particular my period is lighter then normal and when I think my period is finished it starts up again. Is there vitamins I can take or should I go on birth control to regulate my period. I also want to try for baby #2 . I'm taking neoQ10 and a prenatal. I got a blood test to check my hormones and thyro and everything came back normal. What can I do to have a normal period again ?
